In regards to warmups, I think a lot of people focus too much on the number of kg/plates they're adding between warmups and not the actual number of warmups used. It is common for people to assume they need to add a 20 or 25kg plate for every warmup on every lift when really taking mostly even jumps like 3-5 times before the top set is what actually works consistently. Obviously it's a waste of effort to add 47.5kg when you could just add two reds, but if you're benching 130kg, you don't have to go 20->70->120->130.
