I was telling a kid at work about how the best time to fish is during and after a storm. Everyone at work thinks I'm crazy partially it's because I fish almost every single day but a lot of people don't know about that. Thanks for sharing

@@TheBaller216 yeah it all started after I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure last year but I realized I haven't caught a 🏆 Bass yet. I've had a few hospitalizations relating to that and I had my appendix taken out at the beginning of this month. Now I caught a cold my doctor strongly suggested I get the covid test done which I did yesterday, so now I'm quarantined to my house until the results come back. Even though it's hot out I'd rather still be fishing!!!

I love a frog bite! I actually overthrow the frog to the bank and drag it into the water as if it’s a real frog sliding in!! Often as soon as it drops in the water real quite like that it gets hammered before I even move it. I learned it watching some pros doing it w worms. They’d cats it to a wall and then pull the worm in and it would set the bass off!! Often one little pop of move it and the bass just slam it when I do that!! I’ll catch a few weeds once in a while but as a whole since it’s weed less it works so well.

Awesome video dude! My birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks, looking at getting another baitcast setup. I currently own a Lews mach reel 6:8:1 with a duckett green ghost 7ft mh rod. I have a lews mach crush spinning combo. Could you recommend me another casting setup? I primarily fish a small lake with little cover, but on the occasion I go to places with super heavy cover where I’m punching 3/4 oz plus lures with 70 lb braid. Thanks Tyler, love the videos! Helped me so much bro!

I'm confused. I thought light penetration in the water was the chief cause of behavior regarding movements to feed in almost every freshwater predatory fish that schools once they reach maturity? Light conditions are lower when a storm rolls through and the resulting cloud cover immediately thereafter continues to provide the same effect. Overcast days provide easier fishing for that exact reason.
@TylersReelFishing
@TylersReelFishing 3 жыл бұрын
Every fishery is unique, so there is no chief cause of behavior that is common among them all. Of course overcast conditions do make fish roam more often, but this video was about after a rain, regardless of if it is overcast or not. I have had success on a frog post rain in sun and clouds the same. This video was about the ecosystem change that happens after the rain👍🏼

@@TylersReelFishing so @ 4:25 AND 6:01 you just happened to toss that poppin perch in the exact area that just so happens to coincidentally match the cone what livescope reads? Since I’m too lazy to continue on with the math. I’ll stop at 20-7.. aka at a distance of 20ft, the livescopes width would be about 7 feet, based on a 20 degree beam angle! (18 ft = 6.5ft, 16ft = 5.5ft etc etc) which again… somehow falls directly into your lure placement each time! And checkmark the box about cropping out your units screen It’s okay man, don’t waste your time proving me wrong .. #videogamefishermen

Brother, I’m throwing a frog in 3-4 feet of water with scattered grass all around me. You think Livescope can even read that shallow?😂 That second bite even happened IN a grass patch beyond where Livescope could ever get a return. You don’t need Livescope to frog fish, so I wasn’t using it, even though my ultrex head was pointed relatively near where I got the bite lol

It’s the Anglr app. He talks about it a lot and it’s linked in the description.
@TylersReelFishing
@TylersReelFishing 4 жыл бұрын
It’s the Anglr Bullseye! Pretty cool deal for pre-fishing/breaking down water but even better for actually fishing. The Anglr app is basically a digital logbook that allows you to drop waypoints and saves all sorts of data about each fish catch that you can come back in later and view or edit. Stuff like wind speed and direction, air temp, barometric pressure, etc. The app is free but they offer add-ons like the Bullseye that just make it a lot easier to use and better. That’s the little thing on my hat in the video. It’s like 30 bucks but you can bluetooth link it to your phone and that way each time you catch a fish you just hit the Bullseye and it logs all that stuff without having to take your phone out each time. People compare ANGLR to Fishbrain, but it’s much better than Fishbrain
