Children do not choose their diet. If a kid becomes fat, that is entirely the parent’s fault. Childhood obesity is a form of abuse.

Dark Rainbow dang this hit me hard because my real birth dad abused me and my mom he cheated on my mom and I would cry for him then growing up I got sick and got surgery then from there I got overweight I’m still overweight but I have nothing else to do my mom trys to help but sometimes her words don’t make me happy at that same time I have mental heath issues because I’m on and off I tried to kms once because I didn’t like the way I looked but now I’m growing the confidence in my life so I can try to get myself there and I will try to go on a diet and be the girl in my dreams the skinny girl I would love to be😔

This is what my mom did to me. Thanks to my EATING DISORDER I developed when I was 12(!) I made myself lose the weight. But I wish the boys who bullied my constantlyabout my weight knew it was child abuse

@@emmadeleon3520 I hope you're well and continue to improve in your mental health. It can be so hard, especially because obesity can mess with neurotransmitter release. Stay strong! As far as specific diets go, that can be hard to maintain on a bad day, particularly when mental health is suffering. If that's an area of your life you start working on in the near future, maybe starting with small alterations to your current diet would be the most sustainable. Much love.

I am 190 I always been 145 my whole life at one point lower than that I've gained over 50 lbs in the last 4 years and now that I am engaged I am wanting more to be healthy again. kzbin.infoUgkx5VQ5nUzHu6i0O5_u7ipyLnCz0lbsSvr0 I am not fat but I am thick and have muscle. I am very close to how you were but a lil smaller but I am so sick people making comments to me like I'm huge or like you said having shorts that used to be so cute on me and now I can't even find a pair to fit me. I used to love shopping now I don't even want to go to the store and if I do I pick the biggest size don't even try it on and deal with it. I went from size 5 to size idk because I don't even want to know the real number. I hate looking at pics of myself now or me before. Thank you for your video it's time to make a change.

I might have gone that way as well but my food intake was heavily restricted and before I even starved myself my parents would starve me. I just leaned into it more...

I come from a broken home too but you have to just get beyond it and live life to the fullest. My mom would still be alive had things not happened the way that it did..but theres nothing that can change what has already happened. I just refused to be miserable. I never ate my life away. Being a Christian means knowing that I will see them again one day in heaven. Stuff happens. That's life but you cant let it define you. These women are miserable but they are the only ones who can change their life. Period. If they only knew what they were missing..getting married, having children..happiness. Purple Cabbage you come from a broken home, but not the same one. I think what Parys means is to have a level of compassion and understanding because not everyone is the same. Even siblings growing up in the same house come out of childhood pain with completely different lives and degrees of coping. Don’t use your pain and how you’ve dealt with it as a universal standard by which to judge others. Not everyone is the same, nor is their hardship. Even the smallest factors can have the biggest difference of outcomes. Surely your life isn’t perfect. How would you feel if someone looked at a flaw in your life/you and say, “Well, I had a bad childhood/hard life and I fixed it and never ended up that way. Why can’t you?” The thing with the ‘Only you can fix your life’ motivational crap so many people sell to you is that yes, while it’s it’s true to some extent, it also promotes an individualistic idea of how people get help. Not everyone has the resources and knowledge of how to help themselves even if they’ve decided and tried with all their might. Like one of the previous commenters point out, the mother was criticizing them for eating pizza WHILE buying them McDonalds. This is the support they have. If YOU didn’t learn your mental strength, determination, and decision-making skills from home, it must’ve been learned from other role models. Maybe they never had one in their lives to guide them. I know you mean well, but sometimes we should recognize the hidden problems of well-meaning motivation and encouragement. These girls need help, not for someone to point figures and say “You did this to yourself and you threw a life away”. Even if you did it in a very kind way (for which I’m glad you did) , don’t you think they already know?

@@user-nm3oo4wx1f Truer words have never been spoken. Im not saying this was done in the comments here, but I don't understand why some people try to one-up each other on who had the worse childhood experiences. That's why I had to quit going to one group therapy I did in my 20's. People don't realize that almost every single interaction we have in childhood, especially birth to 5 yrs. old, usually shapes our entire lives. Being held and comforted 10 extra times in the first year of life can have a drastic impact on so many aspects of a person's personality. Those brain connections & patterns are in place LONG before we are even consciously aware of "what type of person am I?" Everyone's point of reference is so different.

Addiction is terrible ! My grandma was just 7 when her parents divorced - her dad was an alcoholic ! He would come home drunk a lot and go into liquor stores while my grandma and her sister Gloria waited in the car ! It was terrible ! The worst part is Gloria became an alcoholic ( just like my grandma’s dad ) - she ended up dying at age 55 ! However my grandma forged her own path and went to college and became a smart, kind, Happy, confident, independent, Caring, and Selfless Women who would go on to get married, have 4 beautiful daughters, and eventually become a grandma ! She is so amazing and inspiring !!! I am so proud of her !!! Goes to show you that just because you were born into bad habits does not mean you can’t break them !

Can I just express how impressed I am with how mobile they were? At that amount of weight and emotional baggage, those two sisters are surprisingly graceful and able to do things. I'm impressed with how functional they are, here in this video. I hope they're okay today. I don't really have the heart to look it up, in case they are not. But they're coping surprisingly well, here, in this video.

Let me get something straight. So the mother had PROOF that the daughters were being molested and she didn't call the police. She just showed her husband, he didnt believe her so that was the end of it?

What's wrong with the mom first the kids are being molested and mama had proof and didn't call the police and then asked them if they were watching what they ate and gives them a frickin mc Donald's dics brecky buffet 😕😕😕 I'm putting on my spectacle spectacles👓😕

I feel like the reason why she never called the police was because her and her husband were dealing with drugs. If she had called them, they would’ve been charged with handling illegal drugs and even more charges based on their kids 🤷🏽‍♀️ idk thats what I think

That's way more common than u think. I knew a girl growing up her father raped her and her sister repeatedly. She told my mom my mom told her mom. Her mom just said "oh shes just looking for attention." This girl would lock the door behind her every time she entered a room, and her stories were bone chilling. We reported it to the cops, but without the mother to back it nothing changed. It got so bad the girl started looking for someone to murder her dad and finally she left the house and started living with her big sister.

Truly, both the mother and the children must have gone thru some terrible trauma in their life, and they both have had little to no one to rely on, and have had their trust manipulated. I hope they are doing good now and leading a happy life!

Bacall McElroy: saddest thing of all, not only didn't they deserve it, but they have been punishing themselves ever since--with too much food. It is such a horrible cycle! Food makes you feel better...until the extra weight makes you feel worse, so you eat to feel better...which makes you feel worse...and on and on.

Nug tg: that's the truth. In the western world, deprivation, misery, and hard childhoods are qualitatively different from in poorer countries. BUT--our perception of our lives is based a great deal on comparisons we can make with those around us. They likely didn't have anyone living on the streets or starving as an example of how bad things could get, but kids from more average families and lives.

I’ve never been even close to 600 pounds, and I can’t even imagine what it’s like. But I’ve been close to 200. And for a girl who is 5’3, that’s not good. I didn’t look it, but I could feel it. It’s awful being even a bit over weight. I joined weight watchers on October 4th this year, and I’ve gone from 187.2 to 166.6 pounds. I feel actually so much lighter, and I feel healthier. Granted a lot of that weight does come from muscle, but the fact that I’ve lost that much since I’ve started, I feel amazing. I can only imagine how stellar I’m gonna feel when I get to 115. Weight loss is not impossible, but it’s real fucking hard, and it takes time. Good luck to anyone who is trying to lose weight!

It's just a McDonald's breakfast. Not healthy, but also not a lethally huge amount of food. That would not even be a binge for a depressed thin person. If they only ate that amount of food for each meal I think they'd be a very healthy weight.
