Period. I've been playing guitar, ukulele, bass and some other instruments for 30 years and still suck which doesn't hold me back from buying as much gear as I want, without listening to others.

MynxLynx dont get to ahead of yourself i know now you have eight months of experience but an advanced beginner sounds a bit cocky you should strive to be better at everything you need to improve on Im not saying you shouldn’t recognize your achievements im saying if your trying to reach a goal start with little goals such as learning to play a riff slow then fast ya know to get it down pat when you have that down pat go for a harder riff then harder and so on then you get on soloing and other things of the sort

I think the pinnacle of anyone's guitar collection would be these three guitars: A Gibson Les Paul, A Fender Telecaster, and a Fender Stratocaster. And you already have the Strat covered. Even though it's a Squire, they can be AWESOME guitars when set up or modded properly! I have a Squire Classic Vibe Telecaster that sounds just as good, if not better than one of my US made Telecasters. My fave is my 52' re-issue butterscotch Telecaster modded with Lollar pick-ups. :-) I love that blue Ibanez by the way!

Nice went for the Ibanez RG prestige right away. You can never go wrong with Ibanez. I have RG's and S series myself. To me they are the best hands down. The 2 humbucker setup is my go to choice as well. Keep up the good work and enjoyment of playing guitar and music. It never lets you down. The passion for real players like you seem you have in you never fades. It is always burning deep down inside you. If you would like to make an easy and great upgrade to your RG prestige. Look into hipshot bridges and locking tuners. They make an exact fit bridge replacment for the Ibanez Gibraltar bridge and what is called six in a row locking tuners that require no drilling for either the tuners or the bridge. It will look nicer, add sustain and help the stability of the guitar staying in tune longer. Enjoy and thank you for sharing your love and passion for music and guitar.

She’s happy with the amount of guitars she has and you shouldn’t be so judgmental. She’s not saying that you need 7 to be good but that she does have 7

I disagree, if she loves guitars and she’s not going into financial ruin buying them, then she should get as many as she wants.

People are jealous of things they can't afford. If she can comfortably afford it, then she can do what she wants. It's her money, her passion, her choice.

That might be one of the dumbest arguments as to why someone can't buy an instrument.

Those blue Ibanez guitars really inspired me into looking at Ibanez for a beginner guitar. And now I three days ago I got the Ibanez Gio (I don’t know the actual model name) and I love it so far. Btw keep up the good videos

Lol, I have the same 470, and just bought the RG421AHM (not 6, but close). I also have an Ibanez bass. I did block the 470 tremolo in back to disable it so it stays in tune better. I never used the tremolo on it. Love the Wizard necks!

I started playing 5 years ago, and the guitars I've gotten is a Fender Squier from my brother, an acoustic from my dad because he wasn't playing, and he noticed I really liked playing guitar. And an ESP Ltd F-350 (Which I bought 1 year after I started playing, with no knowledge of guitar whatsoever lol)
