❣‼MUST READ ‼❣ @Bob and @Brad, I have had this same issue for a few days now, I've been close to tears from the pain, you can't sleep, can't work very effectively... My left arm is numb from the pain. Now I'm close to tears from the *INSTANT* relief! I cannot express my gratitude enough! The last exercise took it away and it's only a dull ache at the moment. I'll do this exercise daily as you recommend. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I am an ex-pat living in Germany, and the language barrier and the medical merry-go-round you must go through to see a physio have left me in pain for DAYS now.

Thank you gentlemen, I suggest your videos to all of my client/ patients as a massage therapist for going on 20 years now. Upper trap pain seems to be the bane of humanity especially these last 10 years or so. Not just because people seem to be more and more high strung all the time but all the computers and devices and bad posture I'm sure contribute considerably. Self massage will get you out of a lurch most of the time for this, and a deep tissue massage therapist worth their salt will teach you how to manage it so it just doesn't get bad in again and the massage therapist get you a good head start in a series of treatments. Also should be training you on exactly how to do that. Best to have a professional massage therapist help you to understand the safety factors with self massage and the major muscles you have to pay attention to on a regular basis to stay ahead of the imminent tight tissue which we are so good at creating and ignoring until we can't ignore it anymore... Pain is like that right, trying to tell you something. The things that you mentioned to resolve the pain are on the right track though I suggest doing correct push-ups versus bands for this one. Anyway people need to know a lot more about maintaining this particular area obviously. Fortunately there are so many simple techniques where you can use just about anything or just your own hands to create proper flow when you've let these tissues become chronically tight. The chair thing works for a short period of time and is somewhat minimal relief at that. Though it's great in a pinch especially if it's so tight it's aching and you can't even think straight. Of course there's a lot of typical tight muscle groups that you got to stay ahead of or your upper body is going to be a mess... No wonder people don't get along so great these days, everyone is jacked up on pain meds psych drugs and letting themselves be tortured by tight tissue that anyone can easily stay on top of and spend maybe a half hour a week doing self massage. In order to feel good every day... And watch you guys too.

I’ve had terrible trap pain for over a month. The pain is excruciating radiating down my arm. Went to the doctor , they said it’s a pinched nerve in my neck . Sent me to pt, it is not helping.I had a knot on my shoulder blade, which is gone but the terrible pain down my arm remains. Any suggestions ?
@davidjones46002 жыл бұрын
Even though the natural mindset is to focus on getting rid of the pain (because nobody likes being in pain), being PTs, both of you know that the symptoms (pain/discomfort/swelling) are never the true problem. They are the body’s response to the true problem. That said, even though Bob got the upper trap pain to go away, the true cause of the upper trap pain is still in his body, so there is the possibility of it coming back, or showing up as a different response somewhere else in his body.
@elizabethbeckman19472 жыл бұрын
I like what you shared David. Bob, did mention he felt posture (slacking on his exercise routine) the cause. It crossed my mind that the successful exercise method might pinpoint or identify (no guarantee) the source of the actual pain. Bob went through all the exercises to get to the one that worked for him, also to demonstrate for viewers; any one or fewer might be adequate to resolve pain for someone else; I still see your point - does it eliminate the problem. Bob and Brad spoke about maintenance as a tool. I've come to believe sometimes there's no way of knowing.

Great video!! 👏 Btw I love that you guys asked for prayers, and that’s what I will do! Ask and you shall receive, God says seek Him and you will find Him. 🙏 God says if we know we need Him, and know we are only human, just degrading flesh, then we can be hungry for God’s truth! We can be thirsty for something better! It’s the weak that will inherit the kingdom of heaven. God is the true source of healing and He promises to return to those who acknowledge this at the time of Revelation. Revelation 21:4 a promise for a better world to come (for those who seek it) 🤍

**Generic Medication** Unless you’re allergic to “filler” ingredients in medication. Those allergic to iodine may also be allergic to povidone. Man made form of iodine. Povidone is a filler used in medications as it’s cheaper than using other ingredients, which cost more. Always check what’s in your meds IF you have known allergies or family history of reactions. 🙏🏽

What does trap pain mean?
@tracybzowy24862 жыл бұрын
It could be your gallbladder. Referred pain. The phrenic nerve comes up and is under the trap area making it hurt and no amount of massage will take it away the inflammation in your gallbladder will have to calm down.
@Karen4-z8m2 жыл бұрын
we wanted people to hang around 😆
@katherenewedic80762 жыл бұрын
Generic is not the same as label. Often the other ingredients cause their own problems. Production processes and the actual effective ingredient can vary. The most blatant and unethical difference in generic and label drugs is with psych meds. Professional observation.

Please look into Synergy Stones. I found mine in Seattle at Pikes Market, but you can get them online. I had a pinched nerve in my upper back, and I couldn't drive even 10 minutes. My arm ached, and my hand was numb for weeks. My chiropractor did nothing but pop my back and charge money. I found a Synergy Stone, when I put it between my spine and my shoulder blade, the relief was immediate. My arm pain subsided, my hand came back, and I was able to drive for two hours straight to our destination. It was immediate. They have a lifetime guarantee too. I broke mine once, and they replaced it, no questions. Worth it!
