I have learned so much from you both over the years! Love that you’re still doing what you do through it all. Take special care Bob, can’t imagine as a physio having a condition that affects your physical body, the frustration that would come with that.

I started lifting light weights (two pound dumbbells) in September and only doing a 7 minute workout with them (after stretching/exercises without weights for about 7 minutes also). Decided to double the time up last week to 14 minutes of exercise with the dumbbells and also a few different arm exercises - bingo - two days later the soreness hit! GAHHHH. Been almost a week now and is a little better every day but wow - seems like it jumps around. It was first in the back of my forearm (just the "good" kind of ache after a workout), then the knots in the upper trap just below the hairline and also at the shoulder blade area, then in the upper arm right in the middle between bicep and tricep. Sleep has not been a friend this week! I have been improving my posture slowly (medical editor at he computer for 25+ years) and whatever muscle I woke up last week wants to go to back to sleep. Lol. This video helped immensely today. Thank you! Have been watching for a couple of years now and both of you are so helpful. Bob, you look great and in our prayers!!!

Ooh..these look good! I get a lot of migraines due to TOS/stenosis and never knkw what to do. I've tried ice, rubbing my neck and temples but nothing like any of these. Never been shown these either in treatment so I'm gonna keep doing these..thanks! ❤ The towel ones look tricky but will have a go. Excellent demonstrations ❤

Do you know how long it takes for nerve pain to get better. 4 months ago I head injury to the back of my head sometimes I have burning sensation in the back of my head sometimes it feels like a cool sensation. It is not so bothersome some days but the flare up and pain usually comes back.

I recently sprained my ankle. Pain and swelling have gone down substantially but it's still painful to run. Should I be taking ibuprofen to inhibit small amounts of swelling to speed up recovery or does that do more harm than good?
@BobandBrad Жыл бұрын
If you are still having a little pain you can take ibuprofen every 6-8 hours but we would not recommend doing anything (like running) until it's completely pain free, as that will prolong healing.
