Thank you, Coach Fran. I'm a southpaw boxer, and the good news is that I won my last fight in Rosarito, Mexico on 8/27/2022. I always thank my MIGHTY LORD JESUS CHRIST. Thank you for your outstanding instruction. I downloaded this excellent boxing drills video on the awesome champion Oleksandr Usyk. Most honestly, I know that you are orthodox (right-handed), but you do an outstanding job teaching from the southpaw stance. I'm a southpaw boxer, and I say that with honesty. Please continue to include more southpaw boxing drills.

I really love this setting/style one video telling you the elements that make a certain boxer so good then a video that actually tells you how to be more like him simply marvelous Thank you

Great video Fran..I recently saw a video of myself sparring and realised..how flat footed/heel toe I was..so am consciously trying to use the Pendulum step much more..yes it takes a lot more stamina but I’m not getting hit nearly as much Thanks always bud🙏🏽🥊

i know i have mentioned this before my friend but it's all thanks to your videos that i learned how to counterpunch at all, and the next month i did it in a fight and got them on one knee for a mandatory 8 count. my opponent made it to the end of the round and we didn't fight more than 3 rds but that was the highlight of the fight. quite a ways from just knowing some basic punches! that was a few years ago already! and i have kept training and learning more and doing drills. will always be grateful for giving me that lvl up! this is one of the top boxing coaching channels IMO! and out of them all you explain things the best

Awesome. These are all skills that regular followers will recognise, but it's exciting to be able to link them to a known fighter and have drills to execute them according to his style. Now my Christmas dose of THE virus is gone, I'm getting on with this asap.

Can you do a breakdown of Ricardo El finito Lopez, I feel like he’s another good boxer to learn from especially with his hands always up also
@basteagui2 жыл бұрын
finito lopez is my favorite boxer to watch ever. have you ever seen someone throw their punches more perfectly angled his techniques are at the same time textbook and utterly brutal + executed innovatively
@dma52052 жыл бұрын
Bryan maybe Loma?
@basteagui2 жыл бұрын
@@dma5205 honestly i dont think loma can take finito. 50 and 0, with knockout power on the lead and back hands, and great power coming not from bodyweight but from perfect technique. much like other slim power punchers, think arguello. loma has all the best techniques and systematically, methodically dismantles his opponent round after round with feinting and angles. but against someone like finito that wouldn't work. it didn't even work against teofimo. we're talking some of the most sublime fighters, i dont think loma could sidestep willie pep. or corner nicolino loche. maybe i have nostalgia glasses on, i admit i am a little biased towards the more "classic" fighters. although in a real fight i think loma is heavier, but talking in a purely theorical sense, i think finito is on the pantheon of those who weren't defeated ever, to begin with. like marciano, calzaghe, floyd.

I know your channel is focused on boxing fran but I think you should check out a ufc fighter named ciryl gane his footwork and long range fighting is very nice for an mma fighter. He's also fighting this weekend against francis ngannou who is the heavyweight champ.

Fran, what do you think about this coach? -- > kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHW5nqGqh6edfpY . He sometimes breaks the rules like remaining fight effective and general balance/torso movement, which seems to be in somwhat contradiction to what you been teaching. On the other hand he is a well renown trainer, so for sure his technique should be good. Is it just more advance (and/or exaggerated for explaination purposes )movements?

He's amazing, would recommend Alexei every day of the week. We all have nuances I suppose, one of the joys of the sport
