I love this video on this blouse pattern. I love the puffy sleeves. What really drew me was the leather hold puncher and how you used it for the darts I hope this helps me now because I have always had problems with my darts, thank you for an easy way to mark the darts on pattern paper

I really like that blouse on you! I’m just getting around to watching this! And although I have many blouse patterns, I might not have one as simple as this! Thanks for your time and attention to detail!

Thank you- I’ve used your video as a sew-along. It’s a simple enough make but I found the earlier pattern instructions pretty confusing. Sometimes US pattern instructions seem kind of old-fashioned to me- but your video and instructions were so helpful. Keep it up!

Thank you so much ❤ I followed your tutorial and made one for my daughter in law for Christmas, and she loved it 🥰 She chose that pattern not knowing that I’m still beginner and I never done something like that before. I did not want to turn her down, but at the same time I did not want to gift her an ugly shirt. Then I found you, and with your help it came out wonderful. I appreciate your help ❤❤

Great pattern and the material was perfect for it.. Sometime do the one with the shortest sleeves.. It would be great for summer. Really enjoy your videos after one is done I'm watching everyday to see if you have a new one. I've sewed for years but everytime I watch you I learn something new.. Thanks

I love your shirt!!! It really turned out beautifully (no surprise!) ! I just bought this pattern today at Joanns for $1.99 and looked up your channel as I had seen that you posted the making of it recently. Thank you so much for all of your great tips and tricks for a great result. I’d like to make this top in silk in the near future as I love the sleeves and elegant blousey shape :)

I seldom ever have long nails. My natural ones are just too thin. Also, I can’t stand when they’re very long because dirt always collects under them or I poke myself with them.🙄 That green fabric looks lovely. I didn’t realize pattern sewing directions were/might be changed from year to year. Interesting. Thanks for sharing your helpful thoughts & tips. I was glad to see the back didn’t seem too snug fitting. Looks more comfortable this way. Those buttons look perfect for this project. Congratulations on your fabulous new blouse! 🎊

Was all set to sew the Aria blouse by Love Notions but when I watched your video I decided to start with this pattern--I already had the fabric. Your tutorial is so thorough and helpful that I will follow it exactly--especially with the stay tape (already have) and the stitch witchery. I saw this pattern featured on Sew Essential and had already bought it when I stumbled across your tutorial. Thank you for your excellent instruction and gentle demeanor!

It looks lovely on you and seems to be a relatively easy make, especially in cotton. I am tempted to make this when we are into autumn, it’s summer here now.

Hi Marie...I'm sorry if you've already answered this, but would you recommend your steam iron? If so, would you let me know the make & model, please? Thank you!m
@mybucoliclife2 жыл бұрын
I'm getting used to my steam iron now. It is a big transition from a regular household iron. Dealing with the heaviness of it, and the extra water hose can be cumbersome. But what I do like is never running out of steam, being able to use tap water because of the filter, and the consistency in the heat and steam. I bought mine from wawak.com. it is the rapid steam iron. Hope that helps
