I just wanna go back in time and give myself a hug. But I want everyone to know a couple things, 1. My ex ended up reaching out to me about a year later. 2. But I actually laugh because now, its NOTHING. I laugh at the fact I even thought that way ab my ex lmao. Sometimes even cringe. But anyways, just want yall to know it will be ok, and as much as I know you dont wanna hear that your ex isnt the one for you… I would say that if they hurt you once, it means they really dont have much love for you anyways and it probably wont last. HOWEVER, I promise God has someone out there for all of us. Sometimes we are put through these difficult times because I KNOW it makes us stronger ( It definitely made me stronger ) So use this time to focus on yourself, improve on yourself, and eventually when the time is right, they will come. My mom always said our timing and Gods timing are very different. God always knows the best time. I have done no contact once. It worked. He came back after 3 months. By then I didn’t want him anymore. If i can survive 3 months without him i can go on my life without him at all. During the no contact period I slowly realise what an axxhole he was and how blinded i was.

After being dumped/rejected, told they no longer have feelings for you- you have every right to reconsider and lose those feelings for them as time passes. It could have 100% been love at the time but after they treat you badly/hurt you...you can lose that love because they’re no longer the person you thought they were.

1. Breaking No Contact, keep yourself strong for not breaking the no contact rule. 2. Telling your ex you're in No Contact right now, don't give away your strategy to them. 3. Checking with other person during no contact period to see if they've had enough space and time. 4. Overanalyzing. Basically overanalyzing and overthinking things, it will make you look PATHETIC and WEAK. 5. Social pouting, posting sad posts on social media. 6. Doing no contact only to get your ex back. It's for your own healing, it makes yourself strong and makes your ex realize they miss you. 7. Not controlling your own thoughts. 8. Not going out and have fun during the no contact period, there's nothing to tell your ex when they do come back or when they reach out to you. 9. Falling for loss vs love. A lot of these comments are talking about how we shouldn’t want our ex back because they don’t deserve us, they didn’t realise what they had, and they’ll never change. Have you ever thought that maybe we were dumped for a reason, we didn’t realise what we had, and that we need to change some things about us? I’ve been really looking into the part I played with my fear of abandonment. I was so needy and suffocating. I’m addressing that issue in therapy and starting to really understanding whymy ex wanted to leave. I would want to leave me too. Also instead of social pouting, if you need to get some stuff out, write. Journal it. Write whatever angry, sad thing you want and don’t ever share it with anyone. Except maybe your therapist if you want to 😂

Finally an intelligent comment, I was dumped 6 days ago and in a way I understand why he broke it off because I became too pushy, HOWEVER, at the least half if not more of my pushyness was because he procrastinates everything, he promised me that he had this very important thing he has to do ready and was going to be done by the end of September last year. Nothing happened, that is why I started going off more pushy than normal which started to stress him more but he stressed me even more by this, then on xmas he calls me and was already about to give up cuz he felt his plan was still not going anywhere, if he had told me that a lot earlier then I would have stepped back with my pushyness and stress. So in my case, HE should re-earn me if he wants me back, I know my part in it but he is responsible for most of it and he even admitted that during the breakup, in essence he broke it off cuz he couldnt handle the mess he started.

@Andre Baldwin one year later I have completely healed spiritually, mentally, emotionally. He texted me in early June which is the anniversary of our first meeting we met which I had no clue of until I thought about it. I happened to be looking in my blocked messages and his text had been sitting there for six days(😅). He asked me how I was doing, stated his favorite aunt had asked about me, said he often though about me when he would drive by my job etc...my responses were polite and short. He even had the audacity to ask me if i could make him some tacos 🌮 oneday (his fav)...i ignored that part🙄 rather than tell him helllllll naaaaw😅😅😅. Ive stayed single within this year and truly done an overhaul, got in shape, got closer to God and right now continuing to do me😍. You have to disappear and do not reach out when they break up with you. Truth is, alot of times we displayed weak behavior that pushed them away. You have to go away for atleast 2 -3 months to repair yourself and time for them to forget the mistakes you made. Usually it's not until they've dated someone else before they come back to check on you. If you walked away due to the man seeing several women, you can go into "no contact " mode to avoid being with someone who has obviously decided that you're not a woman he values. Let those other women have the luxury of sharing him while you move on and give yourself permission to accept better. Sometimes, it's not worth it to contact an ex after the no contact period is over. He's probably not going to change anyway. He just likes knowing you like him. Let him go!

I think the #1 mistake people make in this type of situation (I'm in it right now myself) is they go no contact IN ORDER TO get their ex back. I'm struggling with that motive myself. But the main purpose of me going no contact is to get back to the me I was before knowing her. That guy was happy and on his path. And as a bonus, he's the guy she was originally attracted to anyway, so IF IF IF no contact has an effect on her, and she comes back to the same person who's in the same place she left him, she won't feel that attraction. She'll just be reminded of why she left. So do this for YOU, my friend. Not to manipulate someone into doing something for you. As you improve yourself and "level up", you'll find you no longer NEED her. And truthfully, don't we all want to be in a place where we don't NEED externals for our happiness? That's where I want to be. Wish me luck. This is day 4 of no contact. She's texted me every day since... we didn't have a negative breakup. She just realized she's not emotionally available. So I'm giving her that space. But it's killing me... it really is. I miss her a lot 💔

I am so grateful I found you. In times past I have listened to other coaches and it was always about sending certain texts or certain words that should be spoken...I never tried any of those approaches because I saw it as a form of manipulation. My 2 year relationship just ended 4 days ago. It has been so hard but I have called friends or family members every time I wanted to call him. Friends and family are great to have at times like this. So much so that after doing your videos, therapy, talks with friends etc etc I came to realise it is time for me to check-out…this is not a “I got my ex back” story but rather a story of me realizing my value and under no circumstances will I be stuck in gloom and doom anymore. First in foremost the “no contact rule” works, surprisingly in my situation it works twice! This the second time I use it on the same person but I’m at a point I realize I deserve better sadly and plus she’s in a rebound relationship and still reaching out too me like crazy asking mad questions about our relationship but how long does it start working? As soon as you stop reaching out! Yea I know crazy but as soon as you stop reaching out is when it works. If you were in a long term relationship 3 to 6 years, just know your in luck unless you was shitty as person than your out of luck but if you was in a long term, it will start working as soon as possible, so stick to no contact and don’t try to break it and if you do, redo it again cause I know it’s hard

I just got dumped today. It was pretty much mutual. He thought he had feelings for his ex. And he was advised that he’s better off single. Which, I am too. I made one of these mistakes. After 7 days of NC I reached out for something I thought was ok (half of wedding costs since ex fiancé broke off engagement). I thought this would be ok BUT IT WASN’T! His response was anger and told me I kept inserting myself into his life and turning anything he had for me into hate! Y’all don’t try to convince yourself that your reason for contacting them is ok- cause it’s probably not! You can wait most likely. Think about it. So now I’m back into NC day 11, and at this point it’s easier than that first week. The first week is the hardest. I’ve been marking Day - in my phone on the calendar to help me see my progress. Seeing it makes me not want to ruin all the progress I’ve made too. Other things that have helped- giving my phone to someone else for a period of time if I’m feeling like I may contact my ex. And of course, pulling up these videos and listening to Coach Lee’s voice of reason. Reading comments on the videos also helps to see that this process works for people. Thank you coach Lee. I was dumped on suspension on cheating because some girl that knows my ex went and told him I was trying to steal her man's friend because he was talking to me alot at the party. Though her and her BFF were there too and we were all having a good chat at the party. Her BFF at the time was an ex trying to get him back and he wasn't paying her any attention. Long story short, he broke up with me cause he believed that story. It was actually a respectful break up with so much love and sadness for both. You are very right when you say they didn't just wake up and decided to end the relationship. He was dealing with this for 3 months and I noticed hot and cold from him since that incidence. He only told me he wanted a break up over the phone while I was away on a girls trip. I asked him why he was being cold and if he didn't want to be with me anymore and he said it's best we should be friends, I know you're seeing other people. My heart shuttered. We had a face to face 2 weeks after cause he was out of town and he were in each other's arms as I explained the incident and he had already made up his mind, but he said I should give him space to think it over. We said our love yous, we ate, he kissed me and went home. He texted the next morning as usual and we had light chats the whole week. My friend decided to go talk to him on my behalf and he unloaded on her what he was feeling and what he wasn't happy with me and how I carried myself in the relationship. I was in the trunk of her car during this conversation but when I sent him a voice note afterwards, I told him I heard the conversation because I put a recorder in my friends car. He was so angry and said I invaded his privacy as his a Dr and that's a big deal. He said he was considering working things out and now he won't and it's over and doesn't even want a friendship. His colleague and friend advised me to tell him the truth about being in the trunk other than saying I recorded him. I sent a clean slate text, apologized and gave him his space. It's been 4 weeks and nothing from him and I'm in no contact. Hardest thing ever

I am not doing no contact anymore, I am here to share my experience so that people in the comments can understand. I used to do no contact in hopes of my ex missing me and now that I look back at it , it sounds funny to me xd. Doing no contact during that time felt suffocating as I kept holding on. But as time passed by I gave up on my ex. I let her go, let myself suffer and then I started to become happy again. I remember seeing two of friends who are happy in a relationship and think to myself that yes this is how a relationship should be. With time going on I moved on completely. Now few days after I actually moved on my ex reached out to me. She wanted to get back together, said that she loved me and wanted to give me everything which I once asked of her. I didnt go back. I could see that she was being serious and that she did see her issues, but somethings are too painful to return back to. So I didnt. Now theres someone else who Im starting to like, a friend of mine. Idk if anything will happen between us or not. But either way, relationship with this new girl or not I wont ever go back to my ex. I am happy and the person who is meant for me will sooner or lter find me ameen

Second time round of going no contact. First time I lasted 30 days. It was so hard. Thought about her all day, checked my phone constantly, couldn't sleep etc. Eventually broke no contact, messaged her and managed to get her back. Everything went well for 5 weeks and a few weeks ago she broke up with me again for the stupidest reason ever. Permanent no contact now and now I'm not even counting the days or worrying about her. I hope she reaches back out so I can tell her to hit the road.

She was surprised I messaged her and was actually quite hostile to start with. Eventually I found out she was spending all that time with an ex-FWB. This guy was into hookers apparently so guess she was right up his alleyway. Trust me, you just need to move on. Reaching out after a break-up and reconciling for a few weeks is the worst thing you can do and you'll hate yourself for it, especially when it ends up in another break up.

Going in on One Month NC, sadly or not i had to text her for her HB since it was just one week after the breakup and mine is coming also on about 2 weeks,. hope it doesnt get in the way of NC

It's really weird, I was doing really good on working on myself and staying no contact. Then this past week I became really sick and kind of delirious, IDK why but it clicked in my mind the times she took care of me and I messaged her. I looked at the messages I sent and JESUS, I just messed up all that progress I made for myself. So pretty much starting over and absorbing all your videos again coach, thanks!
