It’s soothing to hear someone say “it is unrealistic to just turn off emotions and feelings when they were genuine.” Remaining in No Contact is soooooooooo painful, but at this point, my self respect is worth more than anything. One thing I’ll NEVER EVER do again is beg someone to stay and correct their mistakes. I don’t want things to end due to the amount of love I had, but it’s out of my control. @@Cuernx So she was dating someone after me and was trying to tell me about it gently without hurting my feelings even tho I already knew. long story short, She broke things off with the other guy and is living her life without anyone that I know of (per her therapist's advice). She is supposed to be working on herself and healing from her past before me (which was part of the reason we split). Last I time we spoke was December 4th. Im staying in no contact for preservation of myself and open to any new romantic connections if they occur but am open to a reconciliation if she comes around. that's where were at at the moment.

@@thurtythree9668 that is precisely the exact situation i’m in right now. we broke up basically around new year’s eve, i was still living at her house for the whole month of january until i found my own place and during that time she was seeing someone else. yea imagine how painful that is, living there and knowing when she leaves the house it’s to go see another guy when you made so many memories in that house together lol. and that when you leave all you’ll think about is how good they’re doing. anyways i’ve been moved out since the 28th of jan., we have been on and off cutting contact during this week, after just 2 days of cutting contact we had a short phone call in the morning on feb 9th and when i went to hang up she told me not to, and then she started crying saying this is hard for her still and that she misses me (keep in mind she’s been talking to this new guy for over a month now and hanging out constantly and having sex) which was pretty powerful to me. after watching coach’s videos i’m completely cutting things off with her starting today. this weekend is hard right now because it’s valentine’s day weekend and she’s currently with the new guy as i type this and is spending the night with him. it’s killing me. i hope she realizes what she lost with me and that this new guy is just a rebound. this is the hardest thing i ever had to do we dated for just over a year and she was the one i wanted to marry. guess i’ll hope for the best and let her go

But what's even harder is when you lose your self respect in your pursuit for fighting for the wrong person. Sometimes they are not the person we thought they were. The reality does not match the ideal image in your head. Words mean nothing, actions are everything. Don't worry, you'll be alright. The first step is to take back the dignity that you lost. And you can only do that by walking away and never looking back. You deserve a better person. Always remember that love is not found in other people, but it's always within you. Right there with you on that. A rebound on their end prevents their opportunity to reconcile. Honestly, if they are going to rebound, that is the easiest way to permanently let them go, especially if they know you wanted the relationship.

I was one of the individuals that no contact didn't work for. Sometimes it just isn't God's will no matter how bad you wish it was. After a bit (2-3 months), youkind of just gotta stop watching these videos and move on. They kept giving me hope that wasn't there. After 3 agonizing months, I reached out, got some questions answered, and slowly moved on. It was worth it for me to reach out because I was no longer wondering what he was thanking. I had my answer. It hurt bad, but I could finally close the loop. Coach Lee has a lot of great advice and has been a rock for me. It doesn't always workout but he has taught me a lot about self-respect. That said don't let yourself suffer too much. DO NOT reach out until the 2-3 month mark, but if it's still eating at you by then, you really have nothing to lose. Together 4.5 years, LDR 10 months. He got more and more absent, I've asked many times what's going on, response was always the same usual stress. Go into Coach Lee videos and you will find them. Also, I highly recommend you join Coach Lee's Workshop which will help you to. It's excellent and it will help you. know it's really difficult and I've certainly been there. I don't know if you are aware, but Coach Lee has a live workshop called "Relationship Reignite." It's an incredible learning experience that I just can't say enough about. It focuses on saving a relationship from a breakup/separation and then keeping it after. It includes a coaching call each month for 6 months. You can talk to Coach Lee's team about it. @@preetyrahman7512 it’s been nearly 5 months since, we hadn’t contacted each other. I’m still very much in the healing process, think about him some days and still cry too, but it’s much better than the first month. I had mild anxiety from it first 2 months, so I watched videos to manage it. Life goes on, I’m proactive to make new experiences, like learn dancing, more hikes, new friends, backpack traveling. I learn about myself as I do all of this. When I have moments to myself and not busy doing stuff, it can feel lonely & sad to be reminded of what was, but I realise it’s necessary to sit with those feelings. I journaled when I needed, that helped a lot with reflection and perspective. I opened my heart to new people too, it’s proven to be a difficult journey, esp for us dating in 30s and beyond, sometimes I worry about my future if I’ll ever meet a great partner. But in the end, the helpful things you can do is be your authentic self, be a kind & nice person and do what expands your life.

dont listen to other people. They dont know what you feel or how your relationship was with your ex. You may have complained like I did about my ex, but that doesn't mean they really know even if they heard you complain, just to give one example. It's a complicated situation and people are trying to just make you feel better. It's akin to when someone tells someone to stop looking for a romantic partner then they'll find one. Of course a lot of that is nonsense but it's meant to be fluff a friend or family member will tell someone to feel better and not as anxious. Only go with your heart. Timing is often the reason and you're totally correct.

Me and my ex had an absolutely amazing and intimate relationship but had some unfortunate circumstances surround us. I believe in the process! After the breakup, I made the mistake of contacting her too much, begging and pleading over the course of almost 4 months (not constantly, but here and there). I regret that every single day. She is somewhat introverted, so I know how important space is to her. I lost sight of that after the breakup and wish I could take it back. I panicked too much and for too long. I told her I loved and missed her more than anything, and hoped we could see each other again. I made myself look weak and desperate. I am much stronger than I was. Giving her the breakup and the space is essential. It does scare me though, being that she's introverted, that maybe she won't want to reach out, or she would be scared even if she does want to reach out. I've thought about everything, like what if she thinks I'm mad at her or don't love her anymore because I haven't contacted her? Man i love you from the bottom of my heart. you do not just talk black and white but real things. You said in a video about the sings that the rebound relationship it will fail! One of them is the intimacy and how that makes it hard to have a real relationship with others. My ex is reaching out to me desperetly and sometimes softly but not very direct. Being able to let go and let another person be happy is the most selfless thing a person can do the world is so set on tearing itself apart because of people being selfish. I thougth I did the right thing because of family and cultural reasons but when in fact I truly love her. I never left because the love was fading and it is the same for her. 7 months later here I am grieving the loss. We still had contact but this December was the worst. Been in depression and having anxiety attacks because I saw her with someone new and take note he is my co-worker. We both work at the same company btw but she's currently WFH. Truth be told, my ex is hurting over having broken up with me. However he is not ready to reach out. At first he literally expected for me to reach out to him. I refused to do so. These videos have given me the patience to wait. I’m paying attention to myself and my grown daughters. He misses my daughters, too (not his blood children). You're very right, it's not easy but when someone walks away from you after an almost amazing 5 months which was serious even though it wasn't long and they never give you a reason and won't even communicate the real reason then that's reason enough not to ever want them back. He hurt me more than anyone just by having so many intentions and then not following through because he just lied!! Im on the first day of NC, I broke it yesterday after maintaining it for a week. I intend to stay strong this time, either way I see 3 possible outcomes, she contacts me again, I contact her after 1-2 months, or I get on with life and NC will help with this. Good as he is at these things, and valuable his input, Coach Lee seems to be sadly unaware of what the letting-go techniques are all about thus missing the whole point. He merely addresses "let them go" from a shallow face-value level of the statement. Ironically, the way he presents it will make sense of course, to viewers who are likewise unaware and read it at the same level. Letting-go techniques are actually very effective in many areas, including the get-them-back context in this channel, and they are perfectly aligned with all the valuable input that we usually see from Coach Lee. Been married 18 years together almost 20 wife left 3 weeks ago and 100% hard to let her go, even though it dosent seem hard for her, I'm in no contact but see her briefly when she drops our children off every week, very hard right now but working on personal growth, really miss her but know she not missing me as she no doubt in the state of relief, I'm hoping she sees what we had when she finally starts to grieve
