This is the 2nd time I listened to this track. I wanted to make a comment while listening the first time but got lost in your music while trying to describe how much I enjoyed it. I had to pause this time to comment. “I hope you receive as much success as you desire. Be that an A-list world-wide entertainer, or making music at home for personal reasons, or something in between. I really enjoyed listening to your music.”

Is this related to an old balled which contains these lyrics "with her apron wrapped about her, he took her for a swan. And then so and alas is was she Polly Von"?

I worked with the Mountain Heritage Folk Festival for quite a few years and grew to love and cherish all of the old ballads. My paternal grandmother Emma Hale Fields Taylor was recorded for the Smithsonian. One of her ballads was the oldest in tact song recorded in the United States. My father sang a lot of them too.
