My parents started taking us to MB back in 65'. I know it like the back of my hand and have played almost all the courses and quite disappointed by the many closings that have happened over the years, and I miss it. We played the MB Air Base which was only 9 holes back then quite often because we camped right on the beach across the street. . Much has changed!!! Dad was always at the retired Military tourney. Yard looks great. Just purchased the stress blend to see what happens. Been mowing at 3.5" every 4 days with all the rain. Suffering from some fungus so guess what I'm doing again while changing all the oil in the vehicles tomorrow.....

My lawn is growing like crazy right now too. Did 1 pound of nitrogen and cant keep up with the growth. Was planning on mowing lower this year but I had to raise the deck because it was just too long

Myrtle beach is awesome ! I’m from Maryland and my parents have a condo there so we go every year ! This fall I’m planning an overseed in my front yard which is mostly shady. I have mostly creeping red fescue in it, but in the summertime it looks rough and brown. I was thinking of over seeding with tall fescue. Do you think that would blend well and do ok? Thank you!
