As a husband of a now avid canner (I use this account of hers) I'm thankful for meals in a jar bc she just went to FL for a week to stay with Mom & be there for Dad funeral and she left me set up with every canned food I needed for every meal. Stroganoff will probably be on her list now. Thanks!

Great tips on adding parsley when you open the jar and to not put sour cream inside the jar but add it later when heating and thickening the stroganoff. Thank you for your focus on safe preserving. Now I'm hungry! haha :) I appreciate your participation.

Beef Stroganoff is one my favorite meals. This would be great to have on the shelf and very convenient for a quick meal. Don't I have think about what your going to make out it. Just throw it in a pan and add some sour cream.

I like to keep tomato paste in the freezer also, it's handy and doesn't go to waste. The mushrooms float because they are full of air. I love beef stroganoff. Happy Canuary. Thanks to ForJars and Sutton's Daze.
