Kerala Style Sardine Fish curry. - Kerala, The land of spices is known for its rich cuisine. The state offers a wide range of dishes including vegetarian and non vegetarian . From Sadhya to Dum Biriyani , Kerala is known for its versatile taste. "My Village Foods " is a popular KZbin channel dedicated to explore the tastes of Kerala.
The channel takes its viewers to the villages where the traditional cooking still exists. Fish curry is one popular dish which is common in every Kerala home. Fish Mulakittathu , fish fry , fish thenga arachathu are some of the fish dishes we see in a Malayali's home." My Village Foods" shares the video of a spicy Kerala style Sardine Fish curry. The video will definitely bring water in your mouth . With very less ingredients one can readily prepare this tasty curry at home.
This is a special recipe where the fish is fried before making the curry. Clean the fish properly and marinate it with turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt. Instead of frying the fish in oil we place banana leafs and fry the fish keeping it inside. Once the fish is set keep it aside. For the curry we need raw mango, ginger and garlic. Now heat the vessel with some oil.
Fry mustard seeds and then put fenugreek. Now add ginger- garlic paste and saute wel.Add chilly powder,salt,coriander powder and saute them well.Pour some water.Add curry leaves and boil it. Then add the fish to it and let it boil. Spicy Kerala style Sardine fish curry is ready.
