Right with you on the Santa beard…. Was kinda strange to have kids staring at me around Christmas 😂😂. Just kidding 😂. What do you think of the weed master spray? Do you use it on just lawn / pasture or have you tried it on any crop or garden ground? I am the same on the sprayer, we have one that fits in the back of a UTV or ATV rack and has the arms or the wand. I also rigged up a 3 point rack that I can strap it to. Keep it up and happy spring 😎

Hi Maddog! White beards! Let’s do this!!!🤣😎 I like the Weedmaster for the lawn and field, I have not used it elsewhere. It seems to be the go to for most folks I know! I’m with you, probably going to stick to my simple rig. Some equipment just has more prep and cleanup than it’s worth. Thanks for coming by! Take care!!🚜🇺🇸🍺

I have a couple of FIMCOs and have had pretty good luck with them. Problem this year will be affording the chemicals. Side bar - Farmer asked his sheep how it was feeling. Sheep says, "Not BAAAAAAd."

😂👍 I hear you! They are expensive and in limited supply. I knew the sheep jokes were coming. Take care!🍺🚜🇺🇸

I made a homemade spray boom and attached via my hitch on my Sidekick. It's OK. Inexpensive.

Hi Mike, great to see how the homestead is growing! Good work 💪🍻🚜🌱 I like the sheeps 🤩 By the way: I will probably buy a Kioti Tractor this year 🤩 and i do not know If i should buy it with cabin or not. Do you miss a cabin on your Kioti tractor sometimes? Greetings, Christian

😊 Hi Christian! Thank you! I have been working hard! I think I am at about 1000 feet of new field fence. I am trying out the sheep farming on a small scale.😊 Wow! Buying a Kioti! That’s pretty awesome!!! I can definitely see the appeal of the cab tractor, but I will likely not get one for this property. I have a lot of trees to work through. When it gets wet here, it get muddy, so I don’t typically need shelter from the weather. Good luck with your purchase! Take care!!🍺🚜🌲

@@tractorrookie Wow! 1000 feet field fence is a lot 💪 I want also have some animals when i am retired. Today i drove a Kioti dk 5020. really a great tractor 🤩 The Point with the trees is a good reason against a cabin. Because of the orchard and the work in the forest. Thank you! 🍻🌳🚜☺️ Have fun on your homestead! Greetings, Christian

I've got Tractor supply and Atwoods both within 7 miles of me and Atwoods is always cheaper on the same products and I won't use either one's credit card as they are very high interest rates plus I've gotten away from credit cards over 10 years ago as I'm on SS, fixed income. I've got 2 acres and I have a 25 gal sprayer that I've used maybe 2 times. Chemicals have gotten sky high. But I know there are other less expensive mixtures to use for weed control but it guess I'll keep mowing my dandelions and clover and try to reseed the dead spots. And I don't have livestock.

👍😊 Hi Kip! That all makes perfect sense to me! One of the key points that I failed to mention is that we are in Oregon, but all of our shopping is just over the bridge in Washington. Washington has an 8% sales tax and Oregon does not, so no shipping cost, no fuel cost and no tax is an incentive for me. I hear you on the chemical cost, it’s crazy! Thanks for stopping by and commenting!!! Take care!🍺🚜🇺🇸

Hi there! I hear you, it seems like you always need one other piece of equipment. No, one size does it all. Cheers🚜🇺🇸

I will not knowingly buy free range eggs or chicken for that reason. in 1920, not many chemicals around for the chickens to eat.
