[Advertisement] Xlite invited me to the "Perfektionstraining" on the Nordschleife with bikes only! :D It is a group training following an instructor. My instructor Tim Röthig did one faster lap when I was behind him, the rest was just cruising :) I rode my old R6 I used in 2016 which were suited with Dunlop Sportsmart TT tires which I am very comfortable with. Unluckily I hadn't enough food that day so I felt a bit dizzy while riding, took it very easy that lap and struggled following Tim, but I think it is still fun to watch :) I did 15 laps the first day, the second day was too wet to ride. The chain has to be replaced as you can hear it in the onboard :D Enjoy the onboard! Cheers!

One of the best clip i've ever seen into the Nordschleife and about Motorbike on track in general. Even if I was far from this level it triggers these incredible sensations I now miss so much. The furious howling of the 600, the helmet shaking, the adrenaline, the kerb all at sudden close to your face... omg... what incredible memories!

30yrs ago YES no problem I would have done this in a heartbeat, now at almost 57 my reflexes and concentration aren't what they once were and would deliver me into a guard-rail at some point on that lap. Great video guys, Oh to be young...🤘😎🏍
@Baleur Жыл бұрын
I think its more about consistency than reflexes, any unforseen event not planned for is death anyway, too fast to react.
@coolfer2 Жыл бұрын
@@Baleur True, but still need concentration and endurance to be able to be consistent. Things that you have plenty more when you are younger, unfortunately. Even your body is going to be stiffer compared to when you're young, which is going to eat your confidence somehow.

@@Virvum_Juggernaut I actually went out and bought an R7 Anniversary Edition for the street and canyons to get that old feeling back. Now I am considered picking up a 2nd bike strictly for track days. I think it would be fun to get a bunch of us old geezers out there on mild HP full fairing modded out track bikes, no need to do 170 on the straight-aways it's all about corning for the fun factor.
