That drill has a center drill, so you can start from underneath and go so deep and than go on top and put the center drill in the hole so you will have a clean drilled hole.

That was our plan but sometimes things don't according to plan on live TV! You will see that we used that approach with more success in the HO project. Also, it helps folks who see that it doesn't have to be perfect. Thanks for the feedback.

That Seems Pretty Easy To Install. I Assume This Comes With The Signal Decters In The Kits HO/N Also I Am Guessing You Can Daisy Chain Two Across From Each Other?
@ModelTrainTechnology4 ай бұрын
"yes" for both questions. In fact, you can daisy chain as many detectors as you like.

If you cut or drill a hole half way thru the bottom and then half way thru from the top you the hole will be cleaner and no splitering of the wood

What would you use to trigger this to operate

Any of our Precision Detectors can be used. You can also connect a mechanical switch to the Gate Controller.

My depth is 2-3/4” with styrofoam. How do I address that?
@ModelTrainTechnology11 ай бұрын
The 3/4 Plug sets the crossing and then you can have up to 4"~6" of piano wire to the motor. Glue a small shim under the styrofoam and place the motor pad on that. Let us know in your order that you need extended wires.
