Agree. I would keep distance from something I don't know (I don't own any Chinese company stock). I would also keep distance from people with different standard (I don't buy things from Temu).
Since 1989 every year there is some version of China collapse prediction. The Chinese government didn’t preplanned to burst the real estate bubble, it just happened that the 4 big players are near bankruptcy and after long discussion and hard determination it is decided not to bailout these companies (many of them are listed in US stock markets and any bailout money is very likely going to be transferred out of the country anyway). Short pain is better than long pain, use this chance to get the real estate market under control, this will allow people to buy houses within their capabilities in future and in turn release a lot of liquidity and vigor to the economy (Singapore is a great example)
