Could use a little bit of visual changes to fit Mario Kart 8's visuals. Also could use other changes so it would look more similar to the OG. There's also the one part after the thwomp room where you can see the sky changes colors for some reason. Same goes for the things in the background at that time. I'm guessing that's a bug that needs fixing. Other than that tho, it's a pretty good remake of a retro track.

What I LOVE about this is the addition of the flying ships in the background outside. I do wish however the grass outside was there but it looks like you haven't finished it yet. When this is completed, I have no doubt that it will be great.

I'm about 4 hours away from finishing and uploading the track. the only grass in the track is going to be on the first turn sorry

I really like the ideas but I feel like the layout is too different. For example, the open grassy area before the spiral section is missing. I think it was one of my fav parts with the stairs going down too after the bridge

Yeah I get that, but I’m trying to replicate Nintendo’s way of remaking tracks and I feel like those are the types of changes they would make. I think there are straight ports of this track to MK8 that have already been made anyway

@@dirtserver1025 Yeah and this is why I love your custom tracks but I feel like having another grassy section, even if it’s not the same would help improve even more the visual monotony that the original N64 Bowser Castle has. Your new open areas are really helping too! Love your work!! ❤️

Just got this in my recommendeds so idk how the older versions of this custom track look, but this seems like it holds up pretty well. The lighting does seem to be a bit janky at times but eh, idk much about modding so it's not like I can do much better

Maybe you could use elevated grass with alpha masks in the beginning section. I know thats not possible in sketchup but still
