This was an awful discussion. It was racist, highly offensive and very ignorant. A Muslim woman who wears the burqa has the right to wear it. Who are they to say she cannot because she is being supposedly oppressed? Are they not doing the oppressing? By making statements like 'this has no place in western society'? I am a Muslim woman and i will wear whatever i like.

In Muslim countries we are not allowed to go around wearing crop tops and revealing clothes. You have to adhere to the countries morals and values

The burqa is banned in a lot of Muslim countires. I was in Morocco recently and lots of public places (swimming pool, shopping mall etc.) had 'no burqa' signs.
