Leaving this here for anyone who might not know; Putting your barrel inside the enemy vehicle does not change that you have to penetrate the armor, he killed it because the FIAT has HEAT projectiles with guaranteed penetration against basically every vehicle that doesn't have ERA/NERA/Cope Cages Severe damage is not a 'kill' or critical state, it's a recent mechanic introduced as a way for people to 'keep' kills, because too many people complained about killstealing (this often was actually just shooting an aircraft a bit and then leaving it alone without doing real damage), as a general rule of thumb, aircraft are never dead unless the pilot is or it is no longer capable of controlling itself. (I.E. Engine is 'killed', under some circumstances you are capable of gliding back to base and repairing, therefore living. Many aircraft are fully combat capable while missing an entire wing, but usually not both excluding VTOLs. Fires are not guaranteed kills either. In short, you either kill the pilot(s) or destroy the aircraft completely for a guaranteed death with no risks.) Good luck, new people or otherwise viewers of this video, remember to try to have fun. And good video in advance. (I have 5,000+ Hours even after stopping multiple times help m-)

USA M1 Combat Car, T7 Combat Car, M5 Armored Car (Deerhound), M6 Armored Car(Staghound only AA version is present in WT), T1 Light Tank, T2 Medium Tank, Medium Tank M1921/M1922, Christie M1931 (tank BT series is based on more or less) and CTLS series of Tanks Germany Leichttraktor, Großtraktor and Panzerkampfwagen I UK Light Tank I to VI, Vickers Medium Mark I-II, Cruiser Mk I and II and Matilda I (not including WW1 Tanks) USSR T-27, T-37A, T-38, T-40, T-18 (MS-1 for WoT players and later version), BT-2, T-12 and T-24 some also have a myriad of sub versions that could easily become different vehicles... those are tanks/combat vehicles that are still missing from most major nations i cant be bothered to list even more but it should get the point over (mainly that WT kinda negelects interwar tanks) and as a sidenote i also play WT and have over 13.5k hours in it.

6:52 to take off in those conditions, you increase the throttle slowly so that the torque effect doesnt just slam you in a certain direction right off the start, and so that you can get some groundspeed. When you have air moving over your control surfaces, aka ailerons (rolling), elevators (up and down) and rudder (left and right), they start to respond to your input and actually control the aircraft when there is airflow over them. At the start you are meant to put in opposite rudder (yaw) to counter the torque effect, and apply a bit of aileron input (or slight roll) on the ground for minor corrects or if there is crosswinds (which there isnt so dw) This issue is only present on most props, and you wont experience this torque problems when ur flying an aircraft with jet engines. Some exceptions like the P-38 lightning had two engines, one spinning clockwise and the other anticlockwise to counter this torque effect on takeoff. And some british fighters had a counter rotating propeller on the same propeller to help counter this torque effect and produce more thrust.

For take-offs in sim mode it really helps to bind your wheel brakes to the same button or axis you use for your rudder. That way you’re not completely dependent on the rudder for countering the engine torque. Also what flight stick are you using for sim?

That does seem really counterintuitive to what you'd do in rl, though 🤔 Haven't played war thunder, so I can't comment on the workings in game, but you should be able to compensate with rudder and a bit of aileron. You'd normally also use rudder for turns in the air, if there's no auto rudder
