@@melinaelisajanetchiaramell4212 Hi! Have you watched the series of videos on flow color seasons? If you’re a Light Spring, you can also borrow quite a few colors from the Light Summer palette because you're likely a blend of both. 😊 The common visual aspect is that you’re light, so as a Light Summer, you can get away with borrowing the lightest colors from the Light Spring palette, as long as they’re not too warm. I hope that makes sense. 👍🏽 I’ll be doing a recap video shortly where I'll be answering questions. Welcome to the RWS Community!

I'm a light spring! Trying to figure out how not to look like a drowned albino lab rat when going out!

I can't say for sure without doing a proper, in-depth color assessment for you. However, generally, Light Springs should stay away from dark colors as they will drain color from you. Cool colors will definitely be too potent for your light, warm coloring and can make you look like a walking bobblehead (✋🏾 nope). Additionally, avoid potent high-contrast colors, such as black and white patterns, and colors that are directly opposite one another on the color wheel. Hope that helps, and thanks for your question. Welcome to the RWS community!

@@RenaissanceWomanofStyle If we are talking in general terms, I am most DEFINITELY very light, think Tilda Swinton. What colors might somebody like Tilda wear on an evening out? I am very aware of colors I should stay away from, that information is not helpful.

@@loosilu Jewel toned colors for sure from the light spring would look gorgeous for an evening out. Immediately, sapphire blues, regal greens and sandy taupes come to mind. Keep makeup neutral because light springs jewel colors are pretty potent and you’re already the highest contrast (correction brightest of the springs) of the spring women. Maybe a slight pop of color on your lips. Hope you have a fabulous evening out 👌🏾

@@loosilu Hi! Jewel colors from the Light Spring palette are indeed quite vibrant, clear, and bright-not pale, but light and described as pastel. Springs, in general, in my opinion, need a healthy dose of color to inject vibrancy. When deciding to wear taupe pants (that's your decision), I simply gave you an option of taupe. Questioning whether it's appropriate to wear taupe pants for an evening out is semantics and really comes down to personal choice and your style personality. It's like trying to say you should never wear white after Labor Day-lol, semantics! It's up to the individual and how confident they feel wearing a specific color. Thanks for your questions and best of luck on your evening out! 🌞

@@loosilu Additionally, when referring to contrast Light Spring are quite bright next to the clear springs. Again, these are general guidelines. 🙂
