The reason this man is in the position he is, comes down to self awareness and brutal honesty and probably a whole lot of pain when he lost his partner. It really boils down to one thing. Have the courage to face up to who you are. And most people cannot. Everyone's shit stinks some just don't want to admit it basically.

@@RawMotivations Good for you friend, not only did you fix you're situation but you put yourself in the position to have an impact on others. Shows true character that. We have a great daughter and she understands all of this. I saw signs but didn't know what it was. I watch the videos every day. Learning how to survive. I have a nervous breakdown. I have no family here. I think he wants me dead. I did a lot for him and this is him paying me back. Wishing all of you the best and be strong and safe.

The first time my husband physically abused me...why? He just came home an asshole. One thing he did was shove me in a corner and was screaming in my face with his lips and spit flapping and spraying in my face. I felt claustrophobic and bit his lip and then escaped, only to be further abused. I realized that he has separation anxiety, so I said nothing and went on like nothing happened. The next morning, I removed the kids from school, and he came home to an empty home. I started counseling and he joined by first stating, "Good, we're going to fix Nancy." When the counselor confronted him, "You know that is abuse." He dropped his jaw is disbelief. She then scolded us both and said there should be no further biting, slapping, or mutual abuse! This was self-defense on my part. We got back together, mostly because we have 4 kids and it wasn't just about me. Furthermore, the counselor, whose husband is a psychiatrist, agreed that we had made good progress. All looked good. As we left the counselor's office his emotional abuse started on steroids, and I was so unraveled by this new abuse, that I got in my first car wreck in my 40's. It was my fault. He removed the kids from my van and drove off. In a private moment with him, yet in public for safety, I said, "You are a coward." His jaw dropped in disbelief. When I divorced him, his jaw dropped in disbelief, and my life after divorce became a nightmare on steroids. Twenty-one years later, he has not stopped his revenge against me. Learn from my experience. God be with you. Stand up to your asshole, uneducated counselor, and your kids who believe his lies, and even the church who doesn't condone divorce. Be alone and stand alone to fight to leave, go no contact, and heal with healthy relationship.

You can't work through issues if you must be superior to the therapist. Your character should speak for itself you shouldn't have to say"i am a good person" that is a red flag when people say this nonsense.

They are ashamed of themselves because of the way they treat other people that’s why the vast majority of them have substance to abuse and alcohol problems. Their conscience is so dirty they need something to shut it off. It’s not because they were abused. It’s because they abuse everybody else your conscience is not dirty when somebody abuses you but it is dirty when you abuse somebody else.

That’s why the steps work. They force you to look at what you did in step 5 and to who in step 8 then make amends in step 9. There are no steps for what others did to you because you have no bad karma from that. Millions recovered thru the 12 steps. Find me something else that has done 1/100th of that in 2000 years. You can’t. Bc there isn’t anything else. It’s all about your conscience and keeping it clean vs dirty. Narcissist have the dirtiest consciences and taking accountability rather than placing the blame is all that works

Your courageous and succinct video is GOLD. I almost didn’t watch the video, because I actually already knew my ex narcissist was a coward and that he was very weak inside. I could see it. I could feel it. I just always covered for him, and it was an unspoken truth. This video is a humongous help to me, because you explain everything, and now I understand the full truth. I have been no-contact for 3 1/2 years. I’ve grown, saved assets, fought the good fight. My brain just couldn’t understand this evil that was perpetrated on a good, loving devoted and loyal person- ME, and I have suffered from the confusion. I did not know people like this existed, and something like this doesn’t happen to someone like me. My family and friends were all shocked and fooled by this narcissist. He was a dangerous, covert narcissist- full of charm. You explaining your truth to us is validating, freeing and brings peace to me and others. I wish I would have had this video sooner, but I have it now. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I had the thought as I am writing this that I don’t want to express TOO much praise to you, cuz you are a self professed narcissist, LOL. I don’t want to feed the monster and give you a big head. That’s what I did to my ex narcissist. Let me just say, I admire your brutal honesty with us. It helps me SO much. I know that you have suffered and hurt too as you’ve had the courage to face the truth about yourself -just as all us humans have to. You’ve removed the curtain and exposed the ugly lies. Good job. We’re all more free as a result. Praise God.

I can see myself in so many things you said in this and in other of your videos. You really pinned it down. I am in a new relationship with my partner, with whom I already had a relationship last year. She broke up, when I wasn't there for her when she was in a bad phase, unable to break free from my self absorption. She came back after months of zero contact to tell me she still has feelings for me. So we're back at it again. I made some progresses in comparison to last year, but some core problems are still there: lack of interest and empathy when needed, accountability, you name it.. Two weeks ago I came to a point, were I just had to admit how much of a coward I am. It was a clear moment. And my partner said to me, that this was probably one of the most honest things I ever said. It's kind of a paradox, but it takes so much courage for us to admit that we are in fact cowards and not the brave, ideal, great guys that we think we are. And like you said, we resent the empaths for how easily they can show their vulnerability. I got phrases in my head like "Oh, how lucky you are, that you can show your emotions, your vulnerability and your truth. I can't. And that makes me inferior." And as we can't stand this feeling of being inferior we continue to mask and lie and manipulate, so we can feel great again. It really is a sad and viscous circle. And I got so much respect for you for really working on breaking this circle!

I definitely have feelings for her, but it seems that a profound and deep love doesn't come naturally for me. My lack of self compassion gives me a hard time to give myself the feeling of security so that it's even harder to make my partner feel secure. But at the moment I try to put effort into it. Like a child that's maybe not naturally gifted with musicality but tries to overcome that lack with hard work and effort.

Our family is going through confrontations now with a family member who has abused her husband for many years, and the rest of us too. It has just become very clear to all who have loved this person for so many years, and could never quite figure out why she was so different and said and did some of the things she did. The husband and wife are beginning therapy next week with different psychogtherapists. We hope positive changes will come for both of them, but know it will be a long shot that the narc can and will make any changes and for the right reasons. Thank you for your important work!

Since I left that man I still have to communicate for certain reasons yet his childish ways still occur but yet he still thinks he's 'somebody' just because he makes more $$$ vs actually Maturing and facing reality, other life situations involved. There's more to life than just making money, like ones emotion's, health, legalities etc. As I have been doing everything the legal way since then but him on the other hand still acts like an immature teenager at the age of 41.

Hi. Thanks for your content. I think it is helpful. However, why is it that there is so much content about how survivors of narcissistic abuse should change their attitudes and behaviors and none directed at the narcs themselves? As a self-aware narc maybe you should consider making content that can enable narcs to recognize it within themselves and make an effort to do personal work and change instead of just asking abuse survivors to do all the work.

I love that idea! \o/ It might also be interesting for non-NPD people that have but truly despise their own narcissistic traits/behaviors and want to learn to understand and better manage them. 🤔

He did fairly recently do a video about what he would say to narcissists. He was very blunt in it.

Reality is that 99.9 percent of narcissists really believe their lies and they do not want help. They must believe the lies that support their good guy false narrative. Image is a life or death matter for them because image is all they have. They do not have a true authentic self. It’s a trauma response to abuse at a very young age. They create a false self to protect and eventually bury their authentic self. It seems it usually comes from mentally unstable parent who sees the child not as separate but as an extension of themselves. The child is abuse for just being a childish or trying to get seek help for a genuine need , but at the same time praised and put on a pedestal for good performance that makes the parent look good or feel good about themselves. So the child learns that his humanity is not accepted but their performances gives them power and praise. So you could show the narcissist physical evidence from printed emails and accounts that prove they are a liar and a thief or a recorded voice audio proving they are cheating but they will reject it , and be mad at and punish you for wanting them to embrace reality. This man probably knows he is one in a billion of narcissistic that actually wanted help and got help…that’s what makes his content unique and probably why he doesn’t offer help for the narcissist except maybe in private for those very rare cases who want help. Unfortunately I keep trying to help my narcissist which is much like banging your head against the wall.

some narcissist can change themselves but some of us love as how we are, sometimes it can be complicated but some narcissist can have care or empathy for some and not for others.

Narcissism has nothing to do with being a man... Women are held to the same standards of having the courage to be honest and vulnerable. Why would you put these standards down to how masculine you are? I'm not trying to insult you, but shaming men doesn't make them act better, it will just cause them to avoid you and rightfully so.

The real coward is the person being abused by a known narcissist. Let’s take accountability for what we choose to put up with. I’m sick videos blaming the narcissist. It’s a joke now

That can be true to an extent for some people. Some people choose to put up with things and remain connected to a disordered person. However, others don’t want to put up with it. Take steps toward boundaries or no contact ,etc. And the disordered person or people (such as a family, maybe a group of co workers or other similar groups of people) FORCE themselves on to their target. Such as situations like stalking, hacking, smear campaigns that can last years, regardless of steps someone has taken to remove themselves from the situation. Those situations are no joke and extremely difficult to resolve (even if a person takes steps to involve law enforcement). It’s not always a simple matter of what you’re willing to put up with.

@@alondraacosta-mora6504 Thank you ... That is true - narcissists are perfect actors... And sadly you don´t learn in school about narcissm. So really the most of us simple don´t know. Some of us grew up with a parent who treated us like them... (So we were used to this behavior)...
