Ugh…the circus my ex created took a toll on me emotionally, mentally, and physically. I used to get sick often and slept horribly. Post divorce, I am rarely ill and a group fitness instructor now. The changes have been amazing🙌🏼

@@joanthompson4559 I find an extremely limited number of sincerely curious individuals. Is that a result of indoctrination? Is narcissism endemic to our educational system? I learned (5) skilled trades after college. I went to a major university for an education, not a degree. I personally, am a very curious learner.

@@joanthompson4559 I played a few roles on messageboards and comment sections in the last two decades. Never have I used a troll account. I believe narcissists use them as cover, like they use a mask. One constistent aspect is the "fight or flight" impulse almost always a telltale clue. They ask questions, yet never truly want an answer, or discuss.

Probably. Fight and fligh are their coping mechanism resulted by trauma and they are stuck in there. I'm not sure but I think they are constantly fighting against psychosis because they can't stand reality and they live in an imaginary world of themselves but I think it's because they don't have a self (they have ego, we all do) or is too weak. That's another reason why they copy people; they don't have a real identity because the lack of self. Take with a pinch of salt because I'm not a psychologist.

Its called hell growing up with a child with bpd. I had a recording in my head growing up. "Its not my fault". I have never seen him take accountability for anything he ever did that he caused. Some peopledo not need to adopt mentally disabled children. My parents inability to accept their inadequate knowledge of this condition destroyed our relationships with ourselves and other safe people. At least I understand what this behavior means I can protect my children from this shameless person. It never changes. So I have to change the story they tried to create. Makes me wonder what really happened to that child to make him so defensive till today in his 60s. Little by little you see the damage an enabler of this irrational behavior does to the lives of so many people. Education and swift action is the only way to control it. And neither was ever explored when it would have protected me as a child. Nightmares. Because of his behavior. And Good intentions aren't always appreciated by the logical group who have to deal with the consequences. But I got this. On my own.

Hate is a result of being seen as garbage. Babies even love their own shit. People can go there with help if you create responsible and emotinally safe environment. Defense mechanism can fall apart if you integrate 'garbage' with acceptance. And responsibility. I would rather see stories of ex nightmare behaviour turned into people who know how to change the inner world and watch the outside follow.
