@@RippleDrop. Sun can just be the dominant parent. Not everyone has a father. Also, Sun is usually the father/dominant parent in a “Day” chart (Pre-Sunset Chart/Sun in Southern Hemisphere). Saturn is the father/dominant parent in a “Night” chart.

Story of my life. Free will has been a major theme in my life.. It's a bit confusing because like you say, it is very paradoxical. However finding that oneness, finding spirituality for me did wonders and changed my life in a positive way. Breaking out of the religion I was raised in (strict Mormon Christian) was also a huge deal in my life and I had to fight for it very hard. My mom was very controlling about it and when I wanted to stop going to church, she literally and physically forced me. I remember one day I sat down in the pew and was sobbing very hard but silently.. That was traumatic. I have everything except 2 aspecting Pluto in my natal chart! For the good thank goodness! But it definitely brings very difficult times.. and past lives of abuse or slavery.. dark times of depression.. and then the major power struggles between authority figures and I even bring it into my relationships. Thank you for shedding light on this aspect. It's certainly a very complex and deep one! Also transformational from the Pluto. ✨ Blessed be.

For me that 'first punch' is tied into the self hatred. In part it is a way of protecting myself by putting myself down in the dirt before anyone else can do it. That said, there is also a definite urge to destroy others and expect a fight tending towards annihilation.

Then through relationship suffering I’ve connected to my higher self just because this inconjunction; my higher self directly explained to me that my recent unconscious behaviors were due to this Sun-Pluto inconjunction both in my birth chart and in my Marks chart to that relationship. Going deeper in understanding my natal chart, I discovered this video. I have a Yod >>> Apex = Sun in Taurus in 1st House, Sun inconjunct Pluto (Libra 7th House), Sun inconjunct Neptune (Sagittarius 9th House). Pluto opposite Ascendant (Aries). I understand now the deep/hidden aspect of Pluto on my natal Sun (the free will and self healing from the past, related to abuse, self-image, father figure > spiritual awakening, regaining self-power through awareness). And yes, I'm a spiritual atheist. If I "read between the lines", you also have Sun inconjunct Pluto.

Free will is an interesting concept. I used to believe a lot more in my own personal power but have a very difficult time trusting anything anymore (if I ever did) and definitely tend to project this 'you're taking everything away from me and just want to see me fall' thing that started with mom onto god or spirit guides. I've got Pluto in 1sy conjunct Saturn, both quincunx my sun conjunct mars and chiron and sextiling Neptune so making a Yod. I know probably too much to analyze the full thing but anything you can say about that? Definitely my sun is getting a lot of energy blasted to it (jupiter/uranus opposition as well). I am very into my unconscious processes. I have sun/mars/chiron/mercury in 8th though too so there's that. Def. lots of power issues in my life

Hi there, I'm a Virgo ascendant and I've been aware of the power struggles since I was very young, but my sun is in Aries in the 8th house (ruled by Scorpio and has power over Aries) and Pluto is in Scorpio in the 3rd house (ruled by Gemini which has its own power struggle with Scorpio) and this is very true for me. I have struggled with victim complexes, self-sabotage and was obsessed with feeling controlled in my relationships for a long time. I'm learning to tease it out now but I'm still figuring it out. I was definitely an atheist for a long time and I studied biology but I've had a hard time owning my knowing and understanding and representing myself as an authority. I have Sun square Pluto, as well as every other planet aspecting my Pluto in the first house in Virgo. I have terrible health and like the Phoenix I've been reborn (many times) with a lot less ego (I think). My father was a psychopath and very abusive (Scorpio). My mother was too (Cancer, sadistic). I am attracted men who end up having a mean streak, lots of Pluto and Saturn ...so I've stopped dating and have given up on relationships altogether. Your analysis of Pluto has confirmed my life. I have the semi-sextile and I relate to much of this to maybe a lesser degree. There’s less unconsciousness around dealing with my Pluto stuff (my chart is WILDLY Plutonic, and Mercury in Scorpio in particular helps bring it into a realized conscious realm), but this aspect throws an interesting variety in the mix lol. She considers the semi-sextile to be a less severe quincunx, and she's correct. They are both "inconjunctions" as they are both 12th harmonic aspects; the quincunx is more obtuse and difficult to integrate being 5/12ths of a circle, while a semi-sextile is 1/12th. You can apply basically all her inconjunction videos to the semi-sextile as well.
