GIRRRLLLL!! I WAS FOOLED BY THE INTERNET! I always thought that the ballerina and the coffin nail were the same!! But you have an interesting point!! Ballerina's shoes are super, super narrow, as opposed to coffins, which are wider. I'M SHOOK.

Im not certified, but i love doing nails! Mine, others or my daughter. I have a very large collection of nail products; but i am lacking in one thing: a drill. I'm old school nail file. I have searched and searched to find tuts exactly like this one! It has taken my a very long time but I'm so so glad i found you! Thank you a million times! Keep it up for us new, uncertified or old school techs!!

I love you man. I just watched a video on nail shaping ‘types’ and while it was an awesome tutorial, she lumped the ‘ballerina’ w/ the ‘coffin’. Clearly (at least to me) there is a visual difference. I really appreciate your teachings young lady.

To get used to using my non dominant hand I would take a marker and practice going over my right hand with the left before doing my nails and when I get used to it I just pretend the nail brush is my marker (except I can’t make mistakes) and it worked like a charm!

I have gotten my nails done on my birthday last Saturday I wanted a coffin but she gave me a ballerina I was mad and she didn't listen to me what I wanted. I wanted my nails matte and she said no ugly 😞and didn't do it .she had a late client and she stop to do hers and didn't finish the acrylic on my other hand .then 4 girls came in and wanted meni pedi and stoped again made the water and still haven't finished mine . After she was done they didn't even look alike the nails were not even some where longer then others and my shape came out to be so ugly. Idk what to do

You should have asked to see the manager and shared your experience. You are paying to have your nails done so you decide what you want done, matte, coffin, and she should have done them that way. If they were to still charge you I wouldn't give a tip.
