There are so many things I love about this show, but one of my favorites is when someone makes an off the cuff joke and Aaron just loses it laughing. It's even better when his laughing gets Dusty laughing uncontrollably as well.

Nate’s commentary on the vegetable debate, “but maybe it’s just the one’s we can eat”, is the epitome of his genius! His common sense smarts are off the chart and I think that’s what makes his comedy so refreshing! The majority of us are looking it up like Aaron did, only to find that Nate’s ‘average-man’ intelligence has already ended the inquiry. I know SNL viewership casts a slightly wider net than the Nateland one, but I sincerely hope there could be a sketch or nod to just one of the hilarious moments this show has given us!!! 🥰 Love you guys!

I turned this on in my car last week during a long commute home after a tough day at work. I just wanted to hear some stupid conversations, where I could laugh and yell at the radio when you guys made factual errors. Your show rarely disappoints in this regard. But then Nate goes off with a 10 min long rant on the importance of being a creator, and hanging out with other creators. That was not what I was expected, but it was what I needed. I was downsized from a big company last year and have been trying to start my own business ever since. I get some mixed feedback on my ideas, which is frustrating, but I am getting better at it, and I know I am trying to build something new. Thanks Nate for sending that inspiration out into the universe - I’m sure I’m not the only one who needed to hear it.

Hey bear! For Dusty. I had a Bocce Ball Court in my yard. I am in Pa and played the game at a Summer Vacation place in the Pa. Poconos Mountains.. I got real good at it and it was great family fun. Anytime a reunion or party was planned it was at my house. I used railroad ties for the court and dirt with a top layer of sand that I patted down smooth and hard so the balls roll good. We had some great tournaments. And good times. It was a regulation size court. Happy for another SNL with Nate. This one the day after my 73 year old Birthday. love the Podcast.

My first job was as a cook/dishwasher at Chicken Unlimited. I was 15 years old and rode my moped to work. There was just a thin coat of grease on everything in that restaurant. It was a clean restaurant, it’s just that the grease was in the air. After my moped ride home, my hair would be stuck in a 30 mph breeze position. It was impossible to get the smell out of your clothes. Once you wore something to work, they were forever work clothes.

According to their burial rituals, they dug a massive hole and put all of the deceased’s earthly possesions in it. OK Dusty! I love the idea of a bocce tournament! I can help you come up with the name but before we go down that road, let's get something straight. Unless you're American, it's not "bocce ball", it's bocce! You play bocce, not bocce ball! To give you an American analogy, we use tennis balls to play tennis, right? But we don't say, "Hey let's go play tennis ball!" So, first off, it's bocce, which I think makes finding the tournament name easier. Someone left a comment "Bocce Bowl" - I like that. There are too many possibilities to get into here. Bocce is such a great "Nateland" kind of game because it brings people together. Any age from about 5 up to 95 can play. You don't have to be athletic. It's just a great friends and family game! You may not win but you can play. It's a welcoming game but can still offer a challenge for the more competitive folks. I enjoy bocce so much I raised funds and found volunteers to build a bocce court in one of our city parks. Then when I saw how it was done, it built my own 8' x 60' court in my backyard. We have so much fun! Here's my offer Dusty - I'll be glad to come down and help you build it Dusty! All we need is a Bobcat (skid loader) some 8x8 timbers, gravel and rebar and it's about a three-day job. No charge for my labor. Lastly as part of your research you could try to get a gig at this cool Kansas City BBQ place called Char Bar. They have a big outdoor space, some for eating and some for killing time while you are waiting for your table. You could get a gig there outside and learn from their bocce experience on the same visit. DM me (do you DM on KZbin?) if you want to talk more but I love your vision Dusty! We love the Nateland podcast. We are in Iowa and saw Nate when he came to Oskaloosa last year! What a great show! You guys are great!

Predictions that have proven true or are ongoing: 1. Increased frequency and severity of extreme weather events: Thunberg has repeatedly warned that climate change will lead to more frequent and intense weather events, including heatwaves, floods, droughts, and wildfires. This has been supported by scientific data, as extreme weather events have become more frequent and intense in many regions around the world. For example, 2023 saw record-breaking heatwaves and floods globally, aligning with warnings from climate scientists and activists like Thunberg

Ridiculous to still deny climate change in 2024
@johannaarmone31953 ай бұрын
@CZiNTrPT you're forgetting the fact that humans have only been recording the weather for a hundred years or so. So the only thing this proves is within that time frame. However, if you believe the Bible as a historical record than what we're experiencing now doesn't seem so extreme. Also, geologists have made presumptions of extreme weather from periods of time thousands and millions of years ago. All this suggests that the climate we are experiencing is not unique to our time.
