In this video, I will share five millionaire habits that changed my life. According to studies conducted by Fidelity, only roughly 12% of today's millionaires in America inherited a significant portion of their wealth.
One of the most effective ways to build wealth is to study those who have done so before us. Some of the habits that I will mention in this video have a direct correlation with a significant increase in income that I have experienced in the past few years.

Impressive i like that, fortunately, I had a college economics teacher that taught me a lesson at 18. That lesson was: for every purchase you make, you can't buy something else. Varied sources of income is wise and especially living within your means. Think about taxes and how you get your income. I made $72k combined net last year and paid no Federal taxes.

I wasn't financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my third house already, earn on a monthly through passive income, and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing in the financial market is a grand choice I made.

I invest across the top markets but not by myself though. I follow the guidelines of *Nolan Velden Brent.* you might have heard of him. I can correctly say he's worth he salt as an investment advisor as he diversification skills is top-notch, I say this because I see that in his results as my portfolio grows by averages of 20 to 3O% every month, unlike I can say for my IRA which has just been trudging along. my portfolio just mirrors what he places and not just on some particular industries of my choosing. he gave me that financial freedom I needed.

Finally a habits video that doesn't involve wake up at 5 and mediate. I totally agree that you are the average of the five people you spend the most time with. Friends are people that you can actually choose to hangout with so it's important to pick people that have similar values and goals and also respect your time as much as you respect theirs.

But isn't waking up at 5 am and meditating a good habit? It is hard meditating everyday, its like those basketball drills that are boring and mundane but you don't become an NBA player just playing basketball, you need to practice same drills for hours everyday for years.
@maketheworldwonder
@maketheworldwonder 3 жыл бұрын
@@sportsaddict9104 no i think they are great habits but I don't think everyone needs to incorporate those habits to change their life. Actually mediating doesn't even have to be you sitting there emptying your mind. Like I find watering my plants meditative and some people might find cooking mediative for them.

The deprivation from being poor, made me into a materialistic person once I started making money. It took years before I woke up from that mind set. Thank goodness, I saved and invested at the same time I was buying clothes and other stuff I don't need, but only wanted. - I made a wish list - Kept a financial calendar for all bills and I consider paying into my saving account a bill. - autosave a mutual fund account, started with $50 per month. - auto transfer from checking to savings.

Tip for anyone who doesn’t have time to read (or just doesn’t like reading lol), LISTEN TO AUDIOBOOKS ON YOUR COMMUTE! Increase your human capital just while you’re driving. It's very important to have good habits. I have the habit of reading and meditating in the morning. I have noticed that I achieve way more in a regular day then most around me. The most common question I get is "how do you do it?" Well the important thing for me is to only do what I love! Yup, I do only what I love. I do bullet journaling -- but not the complicated, fancy method. I literally just bullet tasks, goals, and check of items in a very basic, boring way. However, this has been a daily activity for the past three years for me and has helped me way more than expected. I even attribute it to helping me in so much of my financial success. I think it has helped me in meeting a goal of mine which was to make an additional $2K a month through mostly passive activity. Next goal is to double it.

I love to write down my ideas. I have so many notebooks . I love productivity. If I’m not being productive I’m not happy . I’m obsessed with it . I love to learn and share others others is why I started podcasting and blogging. I take time to think every morning it’s a must. If I don’t do it I feel like I’m forgetting something. I also listen to something inspirational while at the gym every day to. I also go to the gym everyday . Taking a step back is really hard but something I must learn . My next challenge . Networking is probably a great one to adopt in my life . . Love your video! Thank you

The millionaires I personally know share the following things in common: 1. They are highly organized in all areas of their lives - they have beautiful hand writings, their home are so tidy such that you can walk-in at any time and still be amazed. 2. They don’t wait for opportunities to come and they don’t procrastinate until all tasks at hands are dealt with. For example they are always the first ones who’d make a restaurant booking , pay their bills and complete tax filings etc. 3. They know where to spend their money. I don’t often see them spending money on luxury items, rather they save it for buying houses that guarantee passive income and tend to use part of those passive income net of loan for gambling in the stock market and the remaining are saved for buying more houses/businesses.

So true. Here are a few tricks I've learned and implemented over the years. Disclaimer, I am NO WHERE near millionaire status (and I'm saving to go back to school), but I've been very slowly building my portfolio. Unless you are truly living paycheck to paycheck b/c you are just not bringing home enough to cover all basics, you can carve out a little bit here and there. The first thing I do with each paycheck is "pay myself" first. This means a certain amount of money goes into savings and a certain amount of money goes towards my goals (e.g, travel fund, car fund, celebration fund). Then, when you have enough in savings to cover any "rainy days" (e.g., car emergency, unemployment, etc.), you can begin to invest. Investing is really important and you don't need much to start. I remember investing $1,000 dollars in the stock market (apple) almost 15 years ago. And maybe a few years later you've saved another $1000 dollars that you can invest, and so on. A few stocks that I have found to be successful over the years are Apple, Google, Amazon, ISRG (and other health/medical related companies). There are really sophisticated ways to determine is a stock is a "good purchase." I am not knowledgeable in this area, BUT, I can review the 1, 3, and 5 year trajectory of how the stock has been doing. If I see an upward trend over the 5 years, I feel better about purchasing the stock. If it's a volatile stock that has gone up and down and up and down over the last 5 years, I usually stay away. And if you don't feel comfortable with individual stocks, consider money market funds (I believe they are called). Vanguard has them. Oh, and RETIREMENT. Make sure you open a Roth IRA account through Vanguard and put a couple thousand (at least) away each year. That money GROWS and you will be thankful you started young. Most important, remember this is a marathon, not a sprint. Be patient and have the attitude that every dollar is bringing you closer to your goal.

Oh yeah dummy? Millionaires, especially billionaires schedule their dumps. Its a fact of life, its a real key to being successful. I eat bran in the mornings and take a shit regularly at 11:00AM. Then I drink the same amount each day so I know to piss at 12:30. If you aren't scheduling your one's and two's then you are falling short. I heard Bill Gates speak once and he shits himself twice daily because he has no time to schedule bathroom time he is so busy. His dog Lucy licks it up and he's good to go
