I've had dreams too. A beach. A spit of white sand. A nude woman sunbathing. As a helicopter flies over she rolls of the sandy outcrop into the aquamarine colored waters, and she becomes a seal.

Several years ago I spent the night at my grandparent's house and was messing with an old radio. This song played after a minute and my Grandma asked me about the song. I don't fully remember what she asked, but I remember her liking it. That seems like a silly, unimportant memory, but whenever I hear this song I'm always reminded of it. I don't even think she listened to the full song or even said more than "I like it." But her passion for music and life just seems to reverberate back into my mind every single time I hear this. Miss you Grandma

The way the bass guitar is mixed in this song ties everything together, and it provides an unbroken thread. But, it also leaves plenty of space for the lead vocal and the story the vocalist tells. The result is amazing. Not many bands achieve this kind of balance.

@@BlueRidgeMtns100The OP and this are pessimistic and false takes. I wonder if some people who make these "X style/genre/etc are dead" or fucking "music is dying" (...seriously???) comments are ONLY listening to and judging based on pop radio station lists and trending pages. I can very confidently say music is flourishing in every genre that's ever been conceived. Look around.

I was a fan the first time I heard Nathaniel on some talk show doing SOB! Now I've listened to lots of his stuff, and I'm still a big fan! 💜

Love it.. It's not just a re-hash of the last record. Sounds from the back-story that it's very much a collaborative effort.

One of the best bands you'll never hear on the radio. Unless you listen to KDHX St. Louis. Don't fret....you can listen on line. No commercials, strictly listener supported radio. GASP! That's where I first heard the The Night Sweats.....

I remember listening to this song on repeat when I was having a really bad day. I had this weird dream that left me feeling very wrong, I can't explain to you this emotion, and I wish I knew what it was. Sometimes listening to this song brings that feeling back that "emotion" but this is a great song regardless.

First time I heard this song, it didn't catch me like I Need Never Get Old or S.O.B., but that driving beat with the lyrical vocals keeps playing in my head. Looking forward to the rest of the album!

Superb - really riffy and nice Austin'esque sort of mid-southwestern mid 20's-30's rock. Very hip!!! Do a tour with Rayland Baxter!!!
