As a former-Marine (U.S.), I cringe watching this video...because it seems you don't get the idea that this is AN INDIVIDUAL 24-HOUR Operations Meal (3-meals...hence all the 'breakfast stuff' too). This meal pack is designed to be for ONE OPERATOR for 3 (or more) meals within a 24-hour time period...thus, watching you slug down all your coffee in one cup, and listening as you describe how 'this meal is huge'...well....YOGI...you're NOT supposed to DUMPSTER DIVE in ONE MEAL on this!!!

Lol.. you really triggered how he eats a ration that he reviewing, when ever i would get my 24 hour first strike ration id eat the whole fucking this in like ten mins and starve the rest of the day. (Current marine)

Finally got some tiem to watch the review of the danish 24hour ration. This looks like a very good ration. The grain bread is by far the best i've ever had in a ration. It's the same like in norwegian rations. Thank for reviewing Nathan.
@Your.Uncle.AngMoh5 жыл бұрын
Nice review. OrifO (“oh-reef-oh”) is a Danish company. No surprise this ration is chock-a-block full of their products. Seeing as you see their stuff in other Euro rations, it’s probably a decent foreign earner for Denmark. Talk to anyone who knows Indian food, that is NOT a biryani. It might have the ingredients of one, but that’s as far as it goes. There are also more varieties of biryani than a cat has hairs. You’re not the only one that tear notches like screwing with.

Glad to see you didn't give up after the US customs issues. Thanks for sharing. This was an interesting ration... little surprised to see an Indian dish, but probably a good thing for MREs to mix up the flavors a bit.

For such a large ration, most of the components seemed just so-so. When the video first started, I was like "wow, $20 shipped looks like a good deal". By the end of the video I was saying "no thanks". Great video. Thank you Nathan.

Very cool Nathan. You do not see too many of these rations. Good looking components. A nice amount of food, included as well. You had some good food, even if the seasonings, had A different taste, than you were used to. Great ration, and, review sir. Peace, John.

Surprised that got through the USDA's bullies that have been taking everyone else's MRE meat based mains from their shipments. Glad to see this video and all the goodies you got.
@SpearM30645 жыл бұрын
NATO-approved rations have to be accepted by all NATO countries. That's why the USDA didn't target this one. Also, they usually don't target MRE's from "Major non-NATO allies" (MNNA) such as Australia, Brazil, etc. On the other hand, if it's from a country that is not a member of NATO and not on the MNNA list, then it's fair game.

I don’t understand why you don’t want to disclose where you’ve gotten the MRE’s from. Maybe you’ve explained it and I just missed it. Is it a legal thing, or do you not want someone else to be able to get the MRE’s to be able to do reviews? I’m just curious. Love the vids, keep it up.
