Mathias I hope you read this comment.. Firstly and most importantly: Well done man! You’re an absolute beast, you might not have gotten the gold for the 100m but I you’re surely catching up! This year you’ll take golds all around (I know it)! Did I mention the fact that every time before the gun goes off I get so many butterflies in my stomach (just watching you)! Can’t wait to race this year again (hopefully meeting up with you soon)📈

I wish there was a way your team could get Sponsored so your team could train in the US for a few months where the weather weather conditions in FL or TX are better for training ... I’m sure you could get under 21.00 in the 200 and 10.2 in the 100 because your muscles are put under less stress. Here in the US a school will take a chance on a kid who runs10.4 over a local kid who runs a 10.3/10.4 because they know the kid who runs the slower times spends most of his season in cold 🥶 conditions. The turn around is pretty quick. Seeing cat going back home with passion like you have would be amazing

Great spinting Mathias This one guy used to always beat me in the 100 by a little bit at my state and jr olympics meets so I can identify with that frustration. Your videos are such high quality you should be a documentary film man someday.

you've awesome speedendurance respectively relaxed upright running. was this always your strength or is it because of your training or because of your high reactive strength. You don't have the typical physique for the long sprints (tall and long thin limbs) but it nice to see it doesn't hinder you.

Mathias, you should hear PJF Performances Podcast about regeneration methods. Hes one of the top athletic trainers on this world. Its named: "026: Bouncing Back From Quarantine, Recovery Myths, Training Until Failure" and I refer to this topic: "Ice Bath Benefit for Recovery?- 29:49". Even if ice baths help with blood flow and subjective well-being, they can increase adrenaline and dopamine, so I can only advise you against doing it before bed. Better do it a few hours before. Dont wanna sound smart here, just genuine wanna be helpful.

good work. well done. i see about 5 areas in which you could make major improvements to improve your PB immediately. Ive seen the work you do in the gym and the drills, .,.... you have a lot of power, flexibility and strength but i can see that you arent yet able to transfer these in unison into the ultimate speed to reach your full potential. You should be running a PB 10.20 and 21 already. and i know exactly why you arent yet. There are some negative aspects of your technique that are cancelling out other positive aspects and thereby hindering your speed. Its like having strong muscles but not being strong. or... being strong but not having your entire body work as one lever. I can explain more. get in touch if you want an objective viewpoint to consider. im happy to help
