I suffered for hormonal acne for years. On my organic diet I added to skin care African Black Soap, organic Aloe Vera Gel 2x/daily. Also I mix organic Garbanzo Beans 1teasp with water 1teasp, and I put on my face 2x/monthly. No more acne, my skin looks much younger and fresh. Thank you doctor. I'm RN and I advise your videos to many of my patients. I listen you for a more than year. Learned a lot. Thank you for free information on KZbin.

Just jayla Smith Are you Allergic to Gluten, Dairy, etc... Have you eliminated reactive foods (food that makes you break out) Are you vitamin deficient? Are you drinking acidic water? Containing Flouride etc? Are you touching your face? I suggest if your using a harsh wash that "exfoliates" your skin, you should stop now cause your only making it worse. Also try to incorporate more greens like spinach, kale, chard etc in morning smoothies to help alkalinity in the body. And don't eat meat especially ones that contain antibiotics that destroys your good gut bacteria. Acne is way more than just bad skin it's literally the whole body.. Usually when you have acne your body is telling you something.

I remember the first time I've watched Dr. Axe's video, maybe 2 years ago, and it was about acne because at that time I started to have hormonal imbalance and my skin started to have acne. I didn't have it when I was a teenager. At the time I thought Dr. Axe diet/lifestyle recommendations were very restrictive. My acne started to become bad. I read on many articles about it and went back to Dr. Axe's video and things made sense. My skin is still healing and now I know which foods to eat. I'm glad he made a new vid about it to remind me :)) I also look forward to your skin healing, Jayla :)

Wow, excellent information! I had been treating my lifelong acne with ProActiv and back in January my skin had a terrible allergic reaction to it. I assume I'm now allergic to benzoyl peroxide and most acne products contain it. Therefore I haven't been able to find a facial product to help me keep the acne under control (I'm 37 y/o). I am SO going to try out your suggestions for topical applications, and I must admit, I need to make serious changes to my diet once again 😔
@Rose-xi8bs7 жыл бұрын
Grisel Blanco refined sugar and refined flour are the enemy. Avoiding these and a cleaner diet has helped me a lot. Use mild cleansers, more natural moisturizers, less makeup...A good cleanser is the "Earth Science clarifying facial wash with cucumber and aloe". Witch Hazel is good to keep oil under control. Jojoba and rosehip oil are good too.
@GriBlanco7 жыл бұрын
Rose Thanks for your reply and suggestions. Do you have oily skin? I do and adding oil to my face would be a hot mess. My skin can't handle it. But if you have very oily skin and use rose hip oil without your face becoming more oily, let me know and I may give it a try. I'm having a hard time finding a product that will treat my acne. I can't use ProActiv anymore. It worked for 8 years - beautifully - not anymore ):

I used to take unsweetened plain 5% Greek yoghurt as I thought the probiotics would help. I think i had a leaky gut a few months back so I had decided to significantly cut out wheat and sugar and dairy - all except for greek yoghurt. I found it to be a great substitute for oats in the morning, and I’d add some fruit and nuts. I really love it but I do notice it gives me pimples. I take alpro yoghurt which is alright but the texture just can’t compare to authentic greek :/
