Bees are one of the most important creature in the world. To keep them alive and well, we need to support bees keepers. Yes, of course there are “wild” bees but not enough. When they make homes within our homes, they need removed. They don’t normally get released back into the wild. They normally are destroyed or taken to a bee keeper. Responsible bee keepers are the stewards of bees, ensuring that they are disease and pest free and have safe places for their hives. Buying honey or wax from local bee keepers that are taking great care of their hives is far more beneficial to bees than boycotting them. Not trying to reprimand anyone, I’m just offering food for thought.
@jaytee3baxter Жыл бұрын
Agreed. Boycotting beeswax does nothing to help honeybees. Stop spraying your garden or buying produce that has been sprayed. Wild bees are just as important as pollinators, they just don't produce was.

Funny, the closed captions translated "Hi, I'm Mrs. Soap and Clay" to "hi, I'm vicious okay." Love that you showed a baking soda free version, I made some with it and it worked great but caused my hubby to break out. I also tried Turmeric in one formulation because duh, all the fantastic properties it has... Yeah my bra is still stained yellow 🤣

😂 The Soaprentice is always sending me funny subtitles, too. I really need to go key them in proper like, but that’s an extra hour of editing for each video. 😭 Yeah the baking soda version didn’t work for my underarms either - breakouts in your armpits are less fun than one would think.

So this video I thought totally showed the scale throughout the vid, but I edit on a giant screen while most people watch on their phones, so in the early stages of the channel that scale idea didn’t quite work. Amazing. I did days of research to see what I could use diatomaceous earth for because I *knew* it had to have done kind of awesome benefit for skin, but I could only find internal use. I use it for storing my flours and grains to keep the buggies out. I'm completely fascinated by this application for it. I also love the packaging free thing. I used those "deodorant salt crystal" things for years back in my twenties, but eventually my skin got so sensitive that I couldn't use anything at all. Lots of hope, here, Chantine. It doesn’t stain the white t shirt in the armpits area?
@MrsSoapAndClay7 ай бұрын
No more than using a lotion on any part of your body. The reason shirts get underarm stains has a lot to do with the antiperspirant compounds in a deodorant that trap dirt and dead skin cells on the shirt, making it difficult to clean without prewash methods or a water softener such as sodium carbonate.
@ilovenatureforever70037 ай бұрын
Thank you for answer. I asked you this because I saw that in the formulation of your recipe you used hemp oil, with an intense color, something that could stain white T-shirts in the armpit area. I use my own deodorant recipe that is very effective against the smell of sweat. As an extreme test, I wore a synthetic mountain blouse, without merino wool content, for two weeks, in the cold season, without developing any unpleasant odor. I also did tests in the summer, when at the end of a hot day, I didn't smell anything. However, I noticed that white t-shirts get stained in the armpit area and, although the stains come out easily with a regular wash at 40 degrees, without special preliminary preparations, it is still an unpleasant visual aspect. I specify that I have a fairly healthy diet, being a vegan, and after applying the deodorant, I leave it for a few minutes to penetrate the skin and then I put on my white t-shirt. I tried not to use colored oils, strong yellow butters, colored essential oils, vitamin E (which has a pronounced yellow color), Candelilla wax (brownish) in my formula. I would be very grateful if you could give me some tricks to improve or modify my recipe (described below) for reducing the stains on the white t-shirt. - purified butters: mango + kokum - fractionated coconut oil - purified beeswax - corn starch - kaolin clay - sodium bicarbonate - zinc oxide - essential oils: palmarosa and eucalyptus globulus Thank you in advance for your answer !
