Thank you for all your help; I’m a massive skeptic and refuse the folic acid tables the drs shove down our throats in the uk. Now o have so much guidance and food plan to help my baby. 🎉 your wife is blessed !

All the supplements you mentioned in this video are what are incorporated in prenatal vitamins..... although these are mentioned in "one" prenatal pill a day taking them separately changes the dose which seems more reasonable if you are not great with your diet..... hence why I love how you emphasize on diet in most of your vids..... Ps Thanks for the info

The Bio-availability is also completely different, I would assume.

I remember them saying to not eat liver so this is interesting. Also I know we can get B12 from pasture raised eggs.

What do you think about taking cod liver oil in combination with beef liver?
@fernandaflores9690 Жыл бұрын
Hello, I love your videos. Quick question can we still drink those supplements even if not pregnant? Thank you!
@DennisfromScratch Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! The only one I mention in the video that is pregnancy and postpartum specific would be the encapsulated placenta.

Hi there. Im 30 weeks pregnant. Definitely interested in beef liver. How did everything turn out with your wife and new baby? My OB said my beef liver needed to be pasturized (sterilized). I cant find that answer. Did she continue with prenatal with the beef liver?
@DennisfromScratch4 ай бұрын
Hi, the wife here. Baby and I are doing great. Oldest is 3, middle is 2, and youngest is about 8 months. I never took anything labeled "prenatal" as the ingredients most of the time are man made chemicals. I took desiccated beef liver from radiant life. You do not want to sterilize it as that will kill off most if not all of the nutrients and vitamins (the whole reason you are taking the liver). Keep up with the liver for easier postpartum as well. Prayers for you and baby! 💜

Have you ever heard of Aajonus Vonderplanitz's work and ''High Meat''?
@DennisfromScratch2 жыл бұрын
I actually mention him in one of my Q&A videos (kzbin.info/www/bejne/gpbWnYOohJWqo7s). I don’t personally follow him, but overall I like his work and advise that I’ve seen.

Hubby and I are trying for. Baby and I have been looking for prénatals but am so confused cause there’s so much out there! So can I take these while trying for a baby?
@DennisfromScratch2 жыл бұрын
The most important thing is to listen to your body and see how you are responding to different supplements. But overall, yes these would probably be good to take while preparing for pregnancy. But I would be more focused on you’re overall diet and reducing/managing stress right now. I recommend you check out this video and maybe implement some of these foods! kzbin.info/aero/PLL-3QEm28LrIDK6Cv9R40lzMZ0j3NI-PC

Lastly, what happened to your recommendation of fermented cod liver oil?
@DennisfromScratch2 жыл бұрын
I looked into it a bit, but couldn’t find conclusive evidence either way. However I generally found that the people promoting the fermented COD seem more in line with my worldview and ethical beliefs than the people arguing against it.

I thought GMO was genetically modified to use less pesticides? Thats the point of GMO, isnt it?
@scythianking73152 жыл бұрын
Nope, other way around.
@DennisfromScratch2 жыл бұрын
Most GMOs are created to be resilient against pesticides so that the farmer can use more pesticides without the fear of killing the crop. So in addition to the other problems that come with GMOs, they also carry more pesticide residue.
@lynneak26812 жыл бұрын
@@DennisfromScratch wow. I got that completely wrong. Genetically modified to be resilient to more pesticides....my gosh. Thats insane!
