Great video. I used to believe raw milk just wasn't good for you at all like most people, since that's just what we're all told. But if that were the case, then people wouldn't have been drinking it for thousands of years before pasteurization. I've always had issues with my sinuses when drinking pasteurized milk, I just thought it was normal. I live in Nebraska, so thankfully it's not hard to come across well fed, free range cows. I talked to a couple farmers and they were more than happy to sell me some raw milk. I get to pet the cows when I go over too!

I had no choice but to subscribe as well. We find that raw milk lasts about 1 week in the fridge before it starts to change in flavor (natural souring). So we generally drink it within 1-9 days of milking. If you’re not used to drinking raw milk, I suggest you start with a couple sips and work your way up to a glass or so by the end of a week. Sometimes starting to drink raw milk will cause your body to detox of built up toxins, so starting slow will help reduce the discomfort if that happens.

You said after 2-3 day Listeria will be eliminated by the milk itself but doesn't raw milk preserve for just a couple days? thanks
@DennisfromScratch
@DennisfromScratch 2 жыл бұрын
We find that raw cow’s milk will keep for about 8 days in the fridge before it starts to change flavor and naturally sour. At that point it’s not bad for you, but we do not like the taste. If you keep it at room temperature, the milk will be significantly soured within about 36 hours.

Hello Dear Sir,i absolutely loved this video and the information that you provided however since iam not a native english speaker i have some questions Is raw milk the milk that comes directly from the cows,do i have to cook/heat it for a few minutes,or do i just put it in the fridge and leave it for a few days?,doesnt it go bad after a few days…? Iam confused please help lol
@DennisfromScratch
@DennisfromScratch Жыл бұрын
I am happy to help! You are correct in saying that raw milk comes directly from the cow. You can drink it immediately; or if you keep it cold in the fridge, it will last about 7 days before it sours. However, once it sours, it is still safe to drink or use in cooking, but most people will not enjoy the flavor of the soured milk.

I have another question. I’m mainly looking into raw milk for my boyfriend who drinks GALLONS of pasteurized chocolate milk weekly. Do they make raw chocolate milk? I need him to switch over bc he has chronic sinus issues and I think the milk is exacerbating the problem.
@DennisfromScratch
@DennisfromScratch 2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I definitely feel an improvement with my sinuses when I drink good raw milk! Whenever I buy ice cream at the store, my nose is a little stuffy the next morning. I’m not aware of anyone selling raw chocolate milk, but you could probably make it fairly easily by just adding chocolate syrup to raw milk. At some point in the future I’ll make a video about making healthier chocolate milk!

Hi Dennis, So I’ve started taking half cup raw milk but have light headache and some brain fog after taking it? Is it normal? Because I read a study that says if you are experiencing headaches and stuff it means raw milk is dangerous (Contaminated).
@DennisfromScratch
@DennisfromScratch Жыл бұрын
I can’t speak to your particular situation because I don’t know anything about the farm that you’re getting milk from. But it is possible for detox symptoms to include headache and brain fog-particularly detox from excess yeast in the gut. Furthermore, raw milk contains hydrogen peroxide which can cause yeast die-off. So that’s my first thought, but a wholistic or wellness chiropractor would be able to determine more accurately what is causing your symptoms. In regards to the safety of the milk, raw milk contains many layers of natural protections. As I lay out in this video, raw milk is the safest food in the world: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qoPTn5l6bs1gprs

Is organic ground beef “factory food” ? I got really sick after eating raw ground beef. Never had problems with raw meat ever before- not even once- in like a year of eating raw steaks / raw fish (but this was 1st time raw organic ground beef)
@DennisfromScratch
@DennisfromScratch 2 жыл бұрын
Hard to say. I would assume it depends largely on the brand and whether or not they have a dedicated organic facility. I’ve eaten plenty of raw or rare ground beef and other meats (both organic and not), and never had an issue. But there’s always a chance that the microbiome of the meat will become unbalanced. The good news is that it rarely will be anything more than just vomiting for a day or so.

Could you explain the fat in the milk being easily burnt rather than other fats ? I herd someone comment about it
@Belle2550
@Belle2550 Жыл бұрын
The scorch point is lower than other fats and oils. Pork fat burns on a higher temp, milk fat will burn on a lower temp. You can brown butter (real butter only) by "toasting" the milk fats in it. It creates the base for caramel and is awesome for amplifying desserts. Low and slow heat.

@danielmoore1145 Жыл бұрын
@@Belle2550 thanks for the reply mate so when you say it burns at a lower temp does that aply for the body aswell? Who the fat in it be burnt by the body easier you think
@Belle2550
@Belle2550 Жыл бұрын
@@danielmoore1145 the carbon atoms in the fatty acid chains are different. Meat Rendered fats are more complex and harder to break down. Thus they get stored in the body (like the cardiovascular system) that will increase cholesterol risks. They are very slow to burn off due to complexity Milk fats are smaller chains and easier for the gut to digest, meaning less likely to store it. The fats are much simpler. Although you should ask a doctor or dietician, in general Meat fats to bulk and give a slow burn on energy use for a long time. Milk fats to slim and sustain energy for the day, you won't loose weight since it's still animal fats.

@DennisfromScratch
@DennisfromScratch Жыл бұрын
I haven’t heard the term biodynamic consistently used, so it’s hard to say what people may mean by it. Generally I’ve heard and use the terms “regenerative” or “wholistic” to refer to the method of farming that I describe.

My friend has bad allergies. She's is a very thin person. She drinks 15oz. Of raw milk with chocolate added. Her cholesterol is sky high. Could it be the chocolate she is adding? Could it be the milk?
@DennisfromScratch
@DennisfromScratch Жыл бұрын
Not sure about the chocolate, but there’s nothing about good raw milk that would cause cholesterol levels to be high. Her condition could be cause by any number of factors including a rare and harmless genetic disposition to very high cholesterol levels. I would seek out a naturopathic practitioner to help her understand her overall health and heal. She may also want to look into the GAPS protocol to restore balance to her intestinal health (her allergies). www.gapsdiet.com

are all raw milk safe?
@DennisfromScratch
@DennisfromScratch Жыл бұрын
All types of raw milk are safe. But obviously the living conditions/diet of the particular animal will dictate the nutritional levels of the milk. In addition, if artificial hormones or other toxins are given to the animal, you will find residue of the toxins in the milk; so the important thing is not what kind of animal the milk comes from, but rather if the animal is being raised with dignity and respect to nature and natures God.

Hi, my raw milk has just arrived today from a farm in my country. It is unprocessed and unpasteurised so completely raw. After watching some videos and reading some comments I have seen people say people they know have died from drinking raw milk and that raw milk causes sickness, paralysis etc. I don't want to throw it away because I'd really like to drink it but I suppose fear has got to me...
@DennisfromScratch
@DennisfromScratch Жыл бұрын
The people in those videos have fed you lies started by the pasteurization factories that literally pay politicians to restrict raw milk access. The fact is that NO ONE HAS EVER DIED FROM DRINKING RAW MILK. LITERALLY NO ONE EVER. Conversely, while it is rare, there have been a few cases where people have died from drinking pasteurized milk (kzbin.info/www/bejne/qoPTn5l6bs1gprs). So what you have heard is completely false. Up is down. Right is wrong. War is peace. You need to break out of the fear that is running and ruining your life. You need to take control of your own opinions and common sense. You have been made for more than fear… you have been made for greatness!
