I loved how you specified how to do a proper scalp "massage". I have fine strands with a medium to thick density so it is very difficult to massage my scalp without getting a million knots. The fine strands just knot up so easy! I will try it your way... thank you!
@NaturallyHigh8 жыл бұрын
Ah! If that is the case please try massaging on stretched hair. Your hair shouldn't be moving so much during the massage - you ought to move your scalp instead.

Hey! Thank you! Wearing wigs over twists is such a great idea! I also do that because it means you don't HAVE to wear the wig every day. You can easily take it off and rock your wearable twists. The twists also keep your hair small under the wig! Keep it up! X

my hair is in mini twists anytime I moisturise my hair especially the ends I see small pieces of hair how do I prevent that?
@NaturallyHigh8 жыл бұрын
Your hair is likely dry! You need to take steps to keep it moisturised. I suggest you deep condition more frequently. If that doesn't help, try using a protein treatment, which should repair the structure of your hair, helping it to retain moisture.

You look lovely without makeup. Braiding twists at the roots is a great idea. You do your hair quite quickly. My hair is much shorter than yours and it takes me longer than five minutes to do a section that size. I want to try this though and see if mine will last. How often do you wash your hair when you wear it in twists? I have to wash my hair every three days for my scalp issue.

Hello, great videos! Subscribed a long time ago! Quick question. When you refresh a section of your hair, do you only do that when you leave all your twists in longer than two weeks? Meaning your wash day might be fewer than twice a month and therefore you are doing what you need to do to keep all your twists fresh. And finally Just to clarify, you start refreshing after two weeks? Thank you for your time.

Thanks for that Naturally High, as present I have my hair in large plaits, and I daily rinse and I refresh my plaits every two days. So I undo my plaits, spray, oil and re-plait again. Very good tip castor on the ends.
@NaturallyHigh8 жыл бұрын
Sounds optimal! Do you need to refresh that often?
@valeriesmith158 жыл бұрын
To be honest, I was getting fed up, because of my hair getting very fuzzy, even though I was rinsing with a stocking cap to avoid it getting fuzzy and however, I have started just spritz daily, without refreshing them.

I frequently twist my hair as a protective style. I have noticed my hair retain has really improved and I'm noticing longer tresses. However, I am also noticing that my hair seems to be thinning as well. Is anyone else having this issue? Is this normal?
@kamuzhyumumba64597 жыл бұрын
S Gayles have you found a solution to the thinning am also experiencing the same and as such i have had to do some serious trimming.
@serenag85687 жыл бұрын
Princess Almira, someone suggested heavy protein treatments when I wash. I was doing them sporadically but now have been doing them every wash day. I wash once every 4 weeks. It doesn't look any thinner. I'm going to keep doing them to see if my hair thickens.

Please do not take what I am about to say as a criticism. I am a subscriber to your channel. You ask for feedback so what I am about to state is out of love and support for you. Because your channel is growing and adding new subscribers everyday. Your NAILs should always be on point and manicured. People notice your hands because you use them to demonstrate your beautiful hair so you may want to have a manicure every other week. It is a tax right off because you are using it for your channel.
@NaturallyHigh8 жыл бұрын
Hey! Thanks for your feedback. I'd love to have manicured nails but I work a lot with my hands (in a molecular microbiology lab) so the paint would chip quickly. I've also noticed that my nails thrive when natural but wear down when painted, especially if I do Shellac. Again, I appreciate your feedback and I do hope my natural nails aren't too distracting. X
