When I was in grade school there was a hummingbird nest right outside my bedroom window. I could see it at eye level when I lay in bed. Having that just a few feet away made a big difference in the way that the world looked like. // Seeing these little guys in the video learning to flap their wings as they steady themselves by their feet on those small limbs brings back great memories from my childhood days.

I finally saw my very first hummingbird at my feeder. It was so quick I couldn’t get a picture. I was so excited to know they are around my home and visiting even if I may not see them
@antiquegirl65054 жыл бұрын
You will get to where you can hear them buzzing around the feeder....sound like big bumble bees....then you can hear the little squeaks and chirps. I love it.😁😁😁

Antique Girl my feeder is far away from my windows and doors. I have to make a distinct effort to see it. Every time I am where I can see it, I do glance hoping to see more visit. 😊
@antiquegirl65054 жыл бұрын
@@k.w.1459 If you could get the feeder closer to a window it would help your view. I used some of those plant hooks to hang one feeder off of a hanging plant basket, and my other one hangs off the gutter near my kitchen window. I have to stand on a chair to get that one down to clean and refill it, but it is worth the effort. Good luck to you.

We have two speakerphones outside the houses and their purpose for years now is being nests for different birds. Both speakers have sturdy nests and right after one family grows the babies , right away another family comes for nesting and raising their little ones. I feel very blessed and honored they choose my house and they trust me with accommodating them with this task . When babies are hungry, it gets very loud ! I see how hard mama works constantly hunting for food and bringing it to babies . I send love and blessings to my adoptive family ...

Y nosotros los humanos nos cuesta relacionarnos y trasmitir amor a tanta belleza. Yo observo y aprendo. Gracias por el video.
