The UConn Huskies have won 10 games in a row by double-digits, the longest streak in March Madness history. Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, and Kevin Wildes ask if anyone can beat UConn, and the NC State Wolfpack making the Final Four with a victory over the Duke Blue Devils. Plus, if Zach Edey is an NBA caliber player.

Zach Edey has been playing organized basketball a total of 6 years. Drastically improving his game each year. Wow. Show some respect for a kid who has come this far in such a short amount of time. Why is everyone so concerned with the NBA? He was doubted to amount to much of anything when he entered college and that has fueled his fire enough to get him to where he is now. I’m sure all this unwarranted hate he continuously receives given his accomplished collegiate career, will also motivate him to shut the mouths of all the NBA naysayers. Zach Edey, Boiler Nation loves you and we will continue to fully support you at the next level. Go Boilers! 🚂🖤🏆

No one remembers 2018/19’s #11 Loyola Chicago or 2020/21’s #11 UCLA? I think Loyola’s run was more impressive than NC State, but all 3 still impressive. UCLA had to play in the play-in game.
@scottcrysel

Because NC State had to win 5 games in a row just to make it into the tourney. And not 5 games against mid majors. They beat Duke, UVA, UNC back to back just to get in lol
@willpsone
@willpsone Ай бұрын
Playing in the play-in meant that UCLA was still a legitimate tourney at large teams- just among the last teams in. While an auto-bid team, Loyola was by overall seed right there with the last at large teams so again a legitimate tourney team. This NC State team started the ACC tournament knowing that their next loss was likely the last game they would play all season as they were not even likely an NIT team before making their run.

Because those teams were good all year. NC State was 17-14 and no shot at even making the tournament. As others have said, State had to win 5 games in 5 days (for only the second time in NCAA history) to even get in.

The most dominant college team I ever saw was 2015 Kentucky. That Kentucky team was like 38-0, had like 7 NBA players, and lost to Wisconsin in the Final 4(which was a fluke). Even tho I believe that the 2015 Kentucky team was better than this UConn team, I just don’t see a team that’s equivalent to the 2015 Wisconsin team or 2015 Duke team of that year that could possibly beat UConn this year. 2015 Duke was stacked and 2015 Wisconsin had a two top college players and streaky shooters. UConn isn’t losing to Bama or Purdue.
