While employed by a military contractor in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kathryn Bokovac discovered abuses by law enforcement personnel, international peacekeepers, private contractors and local police, who were frequenting brothels staffed by underage girls, many of whom were being held via debt-bondage. Bolkovac, a former Lincoln police officer, became a whistleblower and, in the process, lost her job. Today, she speaks internationally as a human rights advocate and consultant.

And only less than 400 views in over a year.... I hate humanity and their ignorance. Nobody seems to care about the root causes of our problems. To me they have always been our problems because it can happen to us all as we see.... Even if it didn't, it is disgusting to just look away.

And Bosnians are literally my lands brothers and sisters and a crime against them is also against me... But it doesn't even matter. a crime against humanity and equality is a crime against us all.

And this woman is my hero. I notice this a lot, its a lot of times women who are exposing the truth who actually have "balls". To actually have humanity, empathy and a heart, is what is really meant. I'm guessing that's called balls..? Shouldn't men have actual balls?! but a lot of them stay quiet, sadly. it is so many women speaking out. it is unbelievable... But thank you and everybody else who is real and honest and good at heart. A pure soul and consciousness is the only thing you take with you to your grave, that is always with you till death. Its worth so much more, than anything else in the world. I am convinced it makes the passing process in the end easier because you are less scared and more fulfilled. because doing bad or covering for bad is based on material, and for an evil, gross Cause,... There's literally nothing else in this world more valueable than your goodness. Because only your Goodness can give you peace as well as others 🙏💛🙏 When you share GOOD then it's doubled, and when you share BAD or sad news then its cut in half, right? But you can only share the bad with people you trust. Who you are sure won't use it against you in any way ever. What is trust? It is something or somebody who you believe will be good to you after you trusted them with the *bad* or potentially ruining outcome. Right? Only good people are to be trusted not fake.... I hope there will be more and more good people who are this brave as her 💛💜

the cruelty people can inflict on others for personal gain and wealth is sickening, I watched the movie on this and I was heartbroken for the poor girls and beyond furious at the perpetrators. I honestly am starting to think that people who torture other people should be tortured in some way in public as a deterrent for these monsters. something that's tells them that however much pain they inflict on innocence they can expect twice as much in return if and when they're captured. obviously that would never happen in the civilized world we live in but I can't help but think sometimes we gotta fight fire with fire. but the higher level people that didn't do that but turned a blind eye to it are just as guilty as the traffickers are.
