These are not just knives, they are art, craftsmanship at a high level. Unfortunately, such knives are well above my price limit of 1000 bucks, but it is interesting to see what kind of knives are out there 👍

Thanks so much Jared! Awesome review . Was smiling the whole time. Love all the details of your review. You have an incredible memory and review style. Loved the critique. I do use hardened stainless T6 2-56 screws, and some really tightly threaded holes using thread forming taps. Very durable........ I will be going to the larger t8 4-40s. Will look better as you said. By the way the black hardware is actually zirconium.. here's the build specs: (Loved the review, thank you again🤝). CHOPP BEOWULF 4.15" ⚫ Full Zirc Build ⚫ "DESERT ROSE" ANO (ROSE GOLD/ shiny "BURNT BRONZE") Zirconium: ⚫ 4 fluted back spacer (textured and polished with satin flutes) ⚫Radial 3D milled 5/8 Jumbo LBS ⚫ Zirconium polished pendant inlaid into clip ⚫ Double zirconium pivot screws Pockets milled on the manual Deckel GK21 pantograph with Red Linen micarta (20,000 PSI Ultrex). "CHOPP HYPER GRIND"14/10" (mirror/stonewash) CPM154 cm heat treated and cryod triple tempered @ 60.5 HRC with very good toughness. Low pressure lock up, with a very thick layer of polished TUNGSTEN CARBIDE on the "lock face". 10X thicker than standard carbidizing. Precision welded with the powerful "Rocklinizer 600".

Love the blade shape on the last one. I love clip point hunter style blades when they're well done. Add in a slight recurve and I love them even more. And i really like the more dramatic curves on this, gives it a beautiful point, almost giving the tip a slight Persian kind of vibe. Very nice. The handle isn't exactly my style, but the amount of meticulous precision and work put into it is incredible. I'm not crazy about handles with a bunch of inlays and different materials/textures but he did do a very nice job on that.

All three knives are examples of great craftsmanship it's crazy what some people can do with thier hands. Not a fan of Damasteel (Trademarked name of thier powdered metallurgy) or any type of Damascus, the patterns are beautiful in some but your paying more for the process vs the actual steel itself, personally I'd prefer a higher quality single steel at the same price point as I'm more of a user than an aesthetic person. For those who like the pattern Damasteel is great though. Love the innovation that Begg has done for knives. Out of my price range but one can always dream a bit. Thanks for the great vid and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

@WillLiam324 күн бұрын
@billycarr7446 Yeah, the traktor is similar just without the curved portion, which makes for a less pronounced secondary tip and another flat edge. I like that the chopp has multiple different types of blades in one functional shape. The tractor is really cool though. Although it's also not inexpensive

Expensive customs are way too subjective to be reviewed in my opinion. It’s art that speaks to you or it doesn’t, these aren’t really users to most of us and hardware being t6 or t8 isn’t really relevant, especially when some makers use oddball custom hardware, it’s maker’s choice, it’s to be admired or not. Who would I be to tell a custom knife maker how a knife, his art piece, should be made.
