You r correct. It’s a privilege to have an animal and also children. I have a little dog (mixed chihuahua and jack Russell) and he was so abused why I don’t understand. He is so good and when he has accidents or whatever I don’t punish him. I have had him for 10 years now and he has vomited ,peed and pooped in the house. It’s called an accident not on purpose . But people think animals do it on purpose. When I came home late from work one day he had 💩 at the door and all I said to him was oh dear I am so sorry I am late for you buddy. He let out a scream and ran and got under the blanket on my bed to hide, I went in to see him and his tail was sticking out so I touched it and he made a whimper and pulled his tail into his body. I patted the lump and said let me clean this up and we will have a dog to Sharon talk. So I left him and did so, then I went in and slowly took the blanket off him and said it’s ok not to worry it’s all gone. We move on. Not a biggie, he looked at me and I said ok want to go for a walk with me ? He jumped up licked my face did circles around me and out we went. God us humans have had accidents too and he doesn’t hit me or yell or scream so why should an animal get treated so horrid. I was late and he couldn’t hold it so that’s the end of that story . He has scars from first two years and he is now almost 12 and no way is anyone going to scream yell or hit him as I will attack. But I don’t think he has forgotten those years and it’s sad to see that

And if I get a dog to punch hit slap ect I don’t want one, I just love this comment it’s. “privilege to have the responsibility of a living being “. And it’s 1000000% true. Dogs that walk with their tails up and that slight smile on their faces you know they r being treated that way they should be. Ones with sad eyes and head down tail pulled in you know they need help asap. Be kind everyone.

Kudos to the rescue group in England that finds these poor pups, and gets them out of those shelters. Seven days, and then they are euthanized?!? How horrible! l used the wrong term, I meant to say pounds that have the option to euthanise after a very short period - rescue shelters are do not euthanise! But it is still awful and doesn't give a dog that might find itself in the pound much of a chance😢💔 the rescue in Scotland really do gives these dogs another chance at life, an amazing group of volunteers❤️ thank you so much🥹

This made me cry so much 😭 I have a staffy too and she is my world. I just despair with humanity and how anyone can treat any animal in such a way is truly horrific. I'm so glad Bruno is living his best life with you now. I wish they brought back dog licences to regulate who is able to own dogs. We also need much harsher penalties to protect animals against such cruelty and neglect.
