Martin D-28. Nicknamed "Hank" after its previous owner, Hank Williams, had traded it; it went through a succession of other owners until it was located by Young's longtime friend Grant Boatwright. The guitar was purchased by Young from Tut Taylor. Young has toured with it for over 30 years. A story about the guitar and the song it inspired, "This Old Guitar," can be seen about 50 minutes into the film Neil Young: Heart of Gold. It is Young's primary guitar for Prairie Wind.

One thing about Neil Young, he has a zillion songs he has written and there is a good chance he will play them all at one time or another. This is one of those songs, this is one of those times.

Wow, I was at this show...its when Neil got into an argument with the Chicago Tribune at a Press Conference the day before when they asked him about an auditing of Farm Aid money---they had facts and wanted some answers, instead, Neil got huffy, mad and said "I'll never do a Farm Aid in Chicago again"....he eventually did do another one, but has never addressed the auditing question, which does beg the question...I like the show, the performers, even Obama was there in 05...but Neil owes and answer. Its money thats been given, t shirt sales, ticket sales, all these years. Keep it going, just answer it Neil---dont make it worse with anger and silence...

für meinen Geschmack, eine etwas zu steife Körperhaltung, ein paar Schwenker und ein paar Blickkontakte zu Emmylou und Willi, wären schöner gewesen. sorry, aber das mußte ich mal loswerden.
