I haven't had neck bones in years. My mom baked them with onions and sourkraut with caraway seeds, salt and pepper. I have never looked for them before. I'm so jealous for all that wonderful stuff you can buy straight from the store! In Finland, the range of keto/carnivore products is non existing. We hunt ourselves so it helps but getting something we ran out, well, too bad 😂 Basic meat is available of course and some basic cuts... I'd love the pork rinds (I make my own, takes 2 days and is a lot of effort) and cracklings and all the different cuts of different animals you get so easily. And the goats milk! My hubby is a calf himself and drinks around 2L in a day of cows milk 🤦 I could go on and on, but I'm always excited to see your crocery hauls 😍😍 keep 'em coming 🥰😘😘😘💜

I worked in their grocery department and one thing they were really really strict about was the meat and cold foods department. Everything had to be unloaded off the refrigerated truck and into the refrigerated cases in under 20 minutes on the dot, we usually made it in 15-17. They pull all the staff off the sales floor to do it. Edit: Now if a customer carries it off for who knows how long and puts it back, that's obviously out of employee's control. But anything rejected at the register or found out of refrigeration/freezers on the sales floor is thrown away. It annoys me that customers are so careless about food waste.

I have been doing Imperfect Foods delivery over the pandemic, and their grass fed meats are half the price that they are at my local Kroger or Trader Joes. It's already vacuum sealed and ready for the freezer. I couldn't afford it otherwise either. The grass fed beef is $4.99/lb, gestation crate free ground pork $5.99/lb, pasture raised chicken $5.99/lb, grass fed skirt steaks for $7.99 on my last order. We also have to remember how much better we feel, even not eating grass fed and organic everything, there's value in that. Cheers!

Your body balances its own pH; within decimal points. The results would be catastrophic otherwise. Some parts are supposed to be acidic, some areas more alkaline. Drinking alkaline water is silly, because it hits your stomach acid which is a pH of 1-2. I believe it to be hype.

Curious about the calf liver.....I made the chicken liver pate but I really ain’t feeling it. And how did the neck bones turn out? What did you cook with them? I need new ideas even though I don’t mind eating ribeye every day...with an over easy egg on top. Yum!

I love watching both you and Dr. Berry, and if course baby Beckett. Doesn't Dr. Berry recommends 100 grass fed, pasture raised meats?

Yes one needs a really sharp knife or grief ensues.

Put it in the freezer until partially frozen, then slicing/handling is much easier. Or just buy frozen & slice with a good heavy, sharp knife & portion/wrap slices & freeze.

What do you feed your cat or cats? I know their lives are determined what food we give them and ourselves too. Mine eat "Acana" but like the "IAms" Sensitive stomach. Just wondering

@@screenname96 If one doesn't care to cook the liver, they can simply cut off 1 ounce and slice it into several small pieces. I put a small piece of salted butter and one of the small pieces of raw liver on my fork and both in my mouth. Instead of chewing, I swallow them with a small drink of warm tea. Lots of folks eat 1 oz of liver daily via this simple method.

How were the Bacon Cheddar burgers from Wal-Mart? I bought some. I'm going to cook them tomorrow. I ask because I saw a ton of negative reviews, mostly complaining about texture, so I'm wondering if you had the same problem. I'm hoping these people just don't know how to cook burgers lol
