രാഷ്ട്രതാല്പര്യമാണ് വലുത് =============================== രാഷ്ട്രം, രാജ്യം എന്നീ പദങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരേ അർത്ഥം അല്ല എന്നു ആദ്യമേ പറയട്ടെ. രാഷ്ട്രം എന്നത് 'ഭാരതത്തിലെ ജനങ്ങളായ നാം' ആണ്. രാഷ്ട്രം എന്ന വാക്കുകൊണ്ട് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത് ഭൂപ്രദേശത്തേയോ ഭരണകൂടത്തേയോ അല്ല. മറിച്ച് ജനത്തെയാണ്. രാജ്യം എന്നത് നമ്മളെ ഭരിക്കുന്ന ഭരണവ്യവസ്ഥയാണ്.നമ്മുടേത് ഒരു ജനാധിപത്യ രാജ്യമാണ്.രാഷ്ട്രത്തിൽ ജനത്തിനാണ് പ്രസക്തി എങ്കിൽ ജനാധിപത്യരാജ്യത്ത് പ്രായപൂര്‍ത്തിയായ വോട്ടർമാർക്കാണ് പ്രസക്തി. ഏകാധിപത്യരാജ്യമാണെങ്കിൽ അതിൽ രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ അവകാശം ഏകാധിപതിക്കു മാത്രമാകും. ഭാരതം ചിരപുരാതനമായ ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രമാണ്. പണ്ടുകാലത്ത് പലരാജ്യങ്ങളായി കിടന്നിരുന്നെങ്കിലും ഒറ്റ രാഷ്ട്രം തന്നെ ആയിരുന്നു. അതിനു കാരണം ദേശീയതയാണ് ദേശീയത എന്നു പറയുന്നത് ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രം അതായി നില്ക്കുന്നതിനു കാരണമായ വസ്തുതകളടേയു൦ അവസ്ഥകളുടേയു൦ ആകെത്തുകയാണ്. അവ നില നിന്നാൽ മാത്രമേ രാഷ്ട്രത്തിനു നിലനില്പുള്ളൂ. ദേശീയതയുടെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ അടിത്തറ പൊതുവായ വിശ്വാസങ്ങളാണ്. പൂർവ്വീകമായ ചരിത്രത്തിനോടും സാഹിത്യത്തിനോടും മിത്തുകളോടും ഒക്കെയുള്ള മമതയാണ്. പൊതുവായ നേട്ടങ്ങളുടേയും കോട്ടങ്ങളുടേയും കഥ, മഹത്വത്തിന്റേയും അപമാനത്തിന്റേയും കഥ ഒന്നായിരിക്കുക എന്നതാണ്. ഭാരതത്തിന്റെ സാംസ്കാരിക ദേശീയത ഇത്തരത്തിലുണ്ടായതാണ്. പാകിസ്ഥാനും ബംഗ്ലാദേശും ഉണ്ടായത് അതാത് ഭൂപ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള ദേശീയവികാരം നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ ആണ്. എന്നാൽ അവിടെങ്ങളിലെ ന്യൂനപക്ഷ സമുദായങ്ങൾ ഭാരതത്തിന്റെ മഹത്തായ ചരിത്രത്തിനോടും സാഹിത്യത്തിനോടും മിത്തുകളോടും മമതയുള്ളവരാണ്. പൊതുവായ നേട്ടങ്ങളുടേയും കോട്ടങ്ങളുടേയും കഥ, മഹത്വത്തിന്റേയും അപമാനത്തിന്റേയും കഥ ഒന്നായിരിക്കുന്നവരാണ്. അവർ അവിടെ താമസിക്കുമ്പോഴും ഈ രാഷ്ട്രത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗം തന്നെയാണ്. ഉദാഹരണത്തിന് ഇസ്രയേൽ എന്ന രാജ്യം ആയിരം വർഷത്തോളം ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നിട്ടും അവരുടെ ഭൂപ്രദേശം അന്യാധീനപ്പെട്ടിട്ടും ഇസ്രായേൽ എന്ന രാഷ്ട്രം നിലനിന്നിരുന്നു. ---------------------------------------------------------------- വിവേക് എരണേഴത്ത്
