Getting to the Mun isn't that difficult. First, you get yourself into a stable orbit around Kerbin (preferably with an inclination of 0°), which requires about 4500 m/s of Delta-V (depends on the altitude of your orbit). Then, just perform a Hohmann transfer to the Mun, which only requires 210 m/s of Delta-V (this includes getting into a stable orbit around the Mun). Landing should then take around 650 m/s, but it depends heavily on the size of your craft. And then you have to go back...
@SClerckx9 жыл бұрын
ThrowTheCheeseGuy well now with the new aerodynamics model getting into orbit only costs around 2000/2500 dV ;-)
@Radam531429 жыл бұрын
Vozze I'm pretty sure it is still more than that, more like 3 - 3.5 km/s dV.

Go to Laythe (First moon of Jool). It's actually probably the easiest thing outside of Kerbin orbit to land on because it's close to a relatively large planet and it has an atmosphere that is great for parachutes or jets. Trust me, Laythe is one of the most interesting and beautiful places to land in the Kerbol system.
