Some quick tips. 1. Don't dive directly down when diving off the plane, it makes you harder to find, makes your opponents easier to find, and it keeps you off the ground for longer. 2. Loot with TAB, it will display all loot in your proximity alongside your inventory. It speeds up things a lot. 3. Close doors behind you. Leaving a door open is basically screaming for someone to come and kill you. 4. The frying pan is unexpectedly powerful. It can KO players in two hits, it can stop shotgun blasts when you holding it, like captain america's fucking shield, and when it's holstered it literally makes your ass bulletproof.

1. Why would you want to stay off the ground longer? So that all other players can get weapons and shoot you when you eventually land? You most definitely need to be on the ground asap. 2. That's right 3. You are not inviting anyone with open doors. If you want to avoid other players, leave doors open, they think this town, compound is looted and move on. 4. Only reason to pick up the pan is for extra armor. It isn't more powerful than other melee weapons as in they are all useless when attacking.

Does Dan have some sort of deep-seated trauma against scopes that I am unfamiliar with? I mean. If someone prefers using a weapons iron sights over a 4x scope, or even a 8x scope, I suppose that's cool. Even on a bolt-action sniper rifle. There are a lot of things you learn about this game. A weapon will always spawn with ammo. If the gun is there but there is no ammo, someone's taken the ammo so you should get out of that house. If a door is open outwards it means someone has left via it.

I've virtual 7.1 headphones and the fact that i can hear where sounds are coming from. e.g. mainly left and right but its good at diagonals too. varies from person to person but if you can a 7.1 headset is great. mine is corsair void, not the best but pretty damn good

Watching you is a bit painful. Press right mouse button (not hold) to ADS, you should be doing this most of the time except in cqc situations. Also make sure to use attachments, extended quickdraw mags, grips, supressors, scopses and so on. (go for 4x scopes on AR's and 4x and 8x on Snipers, and regulard holo sights or 2x on SMG's, then use regulard holo's on shotguns.) Edit: Also keep your AR's on single fire most of the time, only time you should have them on full auto/burst is if you have a sniper rifle and running your ar as the secondary CQC weapon. Other than that keep it on single and use SMG's on full auto in cqc situations.

I don't know if it's still alive but it was a thing years ago, Arma 3 Battle Royale was also like this, just guns and equipment randomly spawned, no survival, just shooting people. With Arma's shooting and equipment mechanics.

Here's the thing. Okay, yes, it's not a clone, but it's nothing much new either. The mods for ARMA that started this whole modern take on battle royale, and then spawned H1Z1 and DayZ and so forth.. yeah, okay, some of them added crappy mechanics like crafting and poor inventory management and so on, but in the end it's still the same game. Big map, loot what you can, kill everybody you see, be the last man standing, win maybe 1 in 50 games you play, wait for bloody 10 minutes of nothing between each game. That just don't seem very fun to me. I mean, I can understand why some would find it enjoyable, and I can understand it even more specifically in team-based situations (where the teams are 2-5 players each), but as a genre, it seems extremely limited in what can be done with it. This new version of the game looks basically exactly the same as the 6 other titles, some of them mods, some of them downright *free to play*, and I don't understand why anybody would shell out cash for them when they've already played the others. So yes, agreed, not a clone, but also not bringing anything new to the table. That's my take on it. If you've played the other versions of this game, and liked them then you'll probably like this one too, because you've already played it, really.
