Victor Viridian Well, now JC3 trailers and some gameplay have been released. It's the same as JC2- certain objects are destructible, and not even close to the dynamic destruction of this game. And if it's not a destructible object, then it's not destructible. In this game, anything building you see, you can take down. JC3 will have the advantage, however, of having slightly more fun methods of destruction (tethers).

The stuff can only be rebuilt if you use a small mod that grants you access to the repair tool, which techno-magically reconstructs everything you "fire" it's nanites at (it works somewhat like a flamethrower). It can be potentially difficult to finish rebuilding some things before they fall apart again due to only being partially rebuilt, though.

Guys, if you get the RFG (red faction guerrilla) mod manager you can install the mods it comes with. There's a free roam mod that removes the storyline BS and opens up all parts of the map, so you can restart the game as much as you want and be able to travel anywhere.
