@SilverSkitterscuttleАй бұрын
@@Young-ep8ik No. it is up there with the best players in terms of efficiency-Kobe was not-but 2 reasons why it cannot be above the best before: 1) Wilt & Kareem had the highest meaningful numbers of total offensive production. Win Shares is one advanced stat that reflects this: but Mikan is also #3 al time! Which accentuates the issue that te overall quality of the league being lower allowed a higher peak. you did not mention Jordan & LeBron, who would be just below them. 2) But nobody in the last roughly decade of "load management" will put up the same peak due to not playing nearly as many minutes! This is both not Joker's fault, but he & others do not have the opportunity to show what level they can maintain for near 3000, let alone 3200, or 3500 minutes! It would be wrong to not credit the best past players, without the training & other advantages of the most recent times, with actually putting up somewhat more playing time & numbers of total contributions. But ambiguous precisely how to compare & rate the likes of Jokic to them. But he clearly is way up there, & when the league is better than ever... He should be winning his fifth straight award, but we all know why he's didn't win in 2023 and why they won't want to give it to him this season. He is statistcally the most efficient volume scorer OAT. Ppl never talk about it but he creates all of his shots by himself and it results in the most Points per shot by any volume scorer IN THE HISTORY of the game. His passing isnt his only exceptional atribute, his ALL TIME great scoring really only enables his also incredible passing

Not a massive fan of advanced stats but his on/off metrics are insane, no one has ever had this amount of impact on a team singlehandedly in history. Small sample size but still
@germanischerkrieger6018Ай бұрын
The craziest thing about him is the fact that he make 25 and 10 Aassists every game But also make every player around him much better, No wonder his PER rating is above everyone ever He can make 40+ when the teams shooting is weak Or make 10 and give 20 assists when it’s the opposite He knows exactly what his team needs and isn’t selfish to set himself back to let the team shine Offensive wise this guy is the complete package, sadly he isn’t in a not so great market With the team now the ring is impossible, only hope is that Murray come back to his 25 ppg prime
@jimismith1159Ай бұрын
I have to make an argument yes Murray is the #2 face of the nuggets. But, so far this season he is not the 2nd best player on the team. It's christian Braun, and it's not close so far
@alexbenjaminrosenthal3989Ай бұрын
AG has balled out. They're two and three though. Murray might be 6 so far.
@SamuelBlackMetalRiderАй бұрын
Thank god for Braun. I’ll be hammering that sh*t. He has been as consistent as Jokic

I have been saying for the past two years that the Nuggets without Joker is not even a playoff team. Jamal Murray, Michael Porter and Aaron Gordon benefit greatly from Joker's presence and playmaking, and he makes them look better than they are.
@HPLov3craftАй бұрын
i have to wonder if jokic received the lebron treatment, with around 10 more FT per game, how dumb would he look in stats
@froyocrewАй бұрын
Well given his ft % and subtracting a bit bc maybe it goes down with more fts i think 33-35 a game is pretty conservative lol

I cant understand that level of disrespect by refs against Jokic. So many non called fouls on him is sad...
@danielgloyd4529Ай бұрын
The Nuggets are wasting Joker's prime. If he maintains this level of play for a few more years, he is going to have to be put in GOAT conversations even if he doesn't get a super high ring count by the end of his career.

The Joker is so fun to watch. Makes it look so easy. He's on a whole other level. Best player in the world IMO.

If dudes name was Pat McSomething and plays for Celtics, conversation on national media will be "MJ was better on defense than Pat.... Pat has more rings than MJ but he had more help... blah blah blah". I'm 47 years old and during my lifetime 12 best players were MJ, Kobe, Duncan, Bron, Kareem, Bird, Magic, Hakeem, Shaq, Steph, KD and Joker, in no particular order, except MJ is a GOAT, but I like the way Pat McSomething is playing better.
