I’m not gonna lie when you first painted the white base for the particles I was like what?! Why?! Then I say how freaking awesome they turned out and was like. WAT?! HOW?! Airbrushing really is a game changer 😆 the end result turned out beautifully I hope you feel pride in this piece cause you absolutely should. Also congrats on the new space!! 🥰

When you need something to look like lightning up, you need a white base. All light in nature have a white shine in the middle because all colors are actually just white with different reflections. a red neon light in example is white in the center, yellow around and red only as the last shine.

17:28 The birds on the tree infront of the light ray are my favorite motiv. IDK why but its this nice contrast to the dark and mysthical forest around and the swarm of birds in the background. They look relaxed and happy to me. They have done theire work for day and have come to rest in this slowly awaking magical forest, whlie the rest. Absolute fantastic job over all. Thx for sharing that!

Martina: “Look at the size of this! This is huge!” Next video: Martina: “We are painting a mural on the Burj Kali!fa!” I can relate on painting in layers and covering over other things you painted in it. Layering provides a continuity. If you have a tree or road, you do not have to fret about the lines following correctly. I find pen and ink challenging for that. You are working with everything together at once and I often draw on tracing paper different elements to move and get the movement and negative space correctly.

There are invisible UV paints that are transparent in normal light but glow under UV. I've used them for reveal effects in a couple of projects with great success. The paints aren't cheap but the results can be amazing. Another point with UV paints is the quality of your UV projectors. To get the best blacklight effect you need lights that produce UV right around the 365nm range. Most LED "blacklights" produce light in the 400nm range which doesn't fully activate UV pigments and will also cast a visible purple light onto the work.

Watched your Cyberpunk PC build colab with LTT, your Harry Pottery book reskin & this. Extremely talented. This fluorescent mural idea is something many of us probably dream of having in our game-room/man-cave/she-shed/whatever. Obviously you have a channel to run and live across the world, so you'll never be entertaining the idea of painting murals in people's houses, but you could easily print your art on poster, canvas, mouse pads, custom-size deskpads (Yes please!), clothing, etc and I'm sure it would sell enough to be worth it. You could put the same level of detail in, but only have to do each piece of art once obviously, then have another company do the prints for you. Compared to many other KZbin channels, you actually care highly about aesthetics and that's great! You'd be improving the aesthetic of your viewer's homes! Buy a screwdriver, backpack, water bottle.... OR.... Something with amazing detail that will make you feel proud of your home's aesthetic and amaze your guests, or something you can wear that can't be ignored easily. Like you, I care highly about aesthetics. I avoid spending money on temp solutions/products, I plan/design ahead, save and buy the good stuff that also fits within the theme I'm working on. Like a contemporary black and white computer desk that works as a blank canvas for my Cricut ideas! Please use your wonderful art skills for the betterment of mankind! /beg

12:50 you should start a tutorial channel on how to paint. I've never been able to draw, much less paint, but those birds look absolutely amazing. Can't fully express how thoroughly impressed I am.

You are such an exceptional artist!!!! All of the different things that you do but when you paint. I think your painting process itself is magical. At one point in the earlier stages before all of the details were added it reminded me of the scene at the end of Bambi when he’s with his dad and the forest is on fire. Gosh this is just so beautiful

Both of you guys are amazingly skilled. But what really makes me stick is your vibes. You are so nice to listen to and to watch you work. Honestly one of the best channels out there.

I love it, it looks like a dream! But what I love most is that Martina's head is almost invisible from one side in front of the mural, because hair and wall color match perfectly!

I love the mural. You are an amazing artist and I thoroughly enjoyed watching you create this work of art. I have never been able to advance beyond sketches well and yet watching others create beautiful paintings inspires me to keep trying. Each time I learn something new. I also like how you responded to the comment about painting something if you were just going to cover it up later. At least the background also gives you a guide to where you are planning to go. Much like an outline for a story. Can't wait for the whole studio to be finished and see what happens next.

Light shines through paint not just off of its surface. Thus layers actually "show" even when they are "covered over" or altered by subsequent layers. Da Vinci et al got those incredible translucent skin tones by layering and layering and layering paint. Or as my daughter says, "If it's one layer, it's a drawing, not a painting." Just to support your process. It is the process of most good painters.
