Sucker Punch is a very underrated movie. Actually a LOT happening. Problem is that the people who like to think about movies got put off by the flashy shiney things, and people who like action were prepared to actually analysis the plot. So... who is the target audience? So yeah, I can see why people dislike this movie.

Thanks Jay/ drunk3p0 for calling out Pirates of Dark Water - I loved that show. I always thought it was a bit ahead of its time; I think X-men came out after it. Anime now-adays had greatly expanded genres and concepts to everyone and afternoon and Saturday morning cartoons. At least that's my view as a 8-10 year old when PODW was airing.

I’d like to point out that in the books Sauron was actually already essentially killed by Gil-Galad, Elendil, Elrond and Cirdan, but the effort killed Gil-Galad and Elendil. It was after all 3 were fallen that Isildur that ‘hewed’ the ring from Saurons defeated hand. The whole ‘reaching’ thing never happens in the books.

I hope disney never changes the marvel section of universal. I live in FL and it's a family tradition to go to Universal on my bday. Every year we go on the Spider-Man ride, because that was the first ride I ever rode at the parks. I loved Spider-Man as a kid and I still do. I'd rather the parks stay the way they are with the classic character designs because the comic book versions are the most iconic versions of the characters. Everyone knows them and the costumes look amazing. With disney movies now, the costumes/art design is either great or terrible. And that being said you never know when they're gonna come along and change your favorite suit just to sell more toys. I think it really shows how in touch universal is with their audience by not changing the classic designs or anything. They know who people want to see, they know what they're supposed to look like, and all the colors pop. No pale greens, or dark purples. They know that if you pick up a comic book after the parks you're looking at the classic Spider-Man on the front, and not the disney version.
